downy-cotton-fabric-softener
Downy Ultra Cool Cotton Liquid Fabric Softener Fabric Conditioner

Cool Cotton liquid fabric softener

Downy Cool Cotton fabric softener is supplied in one 140 fl oz bottle with a dispensing arrangement and measuring cap. It is a rinse-stage liquid fabric conditioner for adding softness and fragrance to suitable laundry. Use it alongside detergent rather than as a substitute for the product that washes the clothes. The Cool Cotton fragrance identifies this version; the bottle is separate from Downy scent beads, dryer sheets and other additives that use different forms or enter the laundry routine at a different stage.

Measure and use the softener dispenser

Follow the bottle’s measurement directions for your load size. Put the measured liquid into the washer’s fabric-softener dispenser, using the machine instructions to identify the correct compartment. In a traditional top-loader, the center agitator’s softener cup serves that role when present. Do not confuse a softener cup with pouring undiluted liquid directly over clothing. The dispenser releases conditioner during the rinse stage. Keep detergent in its own compartment and follow the washer’s guidance rather than treating every drawer or opening as suitable for either laundry product.

Check care labels before adding conditioner

Fabric softener is not appropriate for every fabric. Avoid it on children’s sleepwear labeled as flame resistant and on fleece, velour, chenille or microfiber unless the garment label permits its use. Read the care instructions for the items in your particular load before choosing the conditioning step. Store laundry products securely, with the bottle closed and away from children, and retain the original label for full precautions. The number of loads obtained from a 140 fl oz bottle depends on the measured dose used, so compare the supplied liquid volume separately from a fixed wash-count expectation.

Product specifications

Product specifications

Brand

Downy

UPC / GTIN

100143138919

Product type

Liquid fabric softener

Scent

Cool Cotton

Included quantity

1 bottle

Net contents

140 fl oz

Application

Fabric-softener dispenser for rinse-stage release

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0832/9828/7855/files/downy-soft-cool-cotton-front-bottle.jpg?v=1789818508
