Battery went in easily, and the directions were clear enough for my 6 year old to follow while I read them. He likes the brush because the timer feels like a game. Vibration pauses every 30 seconds so he moves to another quadrant and covers the whole mouth. It taught him how long brushing should take. Great tool for both cleaning and learning.
