About this product
One Black Optic White Sonic battery toothbrush
This Colgate Optic White selection supplies one Black complete Sonic battery toothbrush with Soft bristles and one AA battery, UPC 827854024224. The catalog model is 61051327, and the package identifies the brush as model ASB. The handle, fitted head and battery make one powered brush; the two-piece count in product information does not mean two complete toothbrushes are supplied. Toothpaste is selected separately.
Thirty thousand strokes with a surface-stain polisher
The powered action delivers thirty thousand brush strokes per minute. A rubber polisher within the brushing head helps remove surface stains during brushing, alongside the Soft bristles. The whitening description concerns removing surface stains from teeth; it does not supply a bleaching gel or promise a particular shade change. A separate tongue-and-cheek cleaning surface sits on the back of the head, opposite the tooth-cleaning bristles.
Press the power control and guide the brushing head
The package directs pressing the on/off button to activate the vibrating bristles. Guide the head around the intended tooth surfaces rather than relying on vibration alone to reach every part of the mouth. The directions identify this model for adults and children eight and older, with adult supervision required for people with disabilities. The supplied AA battery provides power without a charging dock in the selected pack.
Rinse, shake and store the brush upright
After use, rinse the toothbrush head thoroughly, shake off excess water and store upright. Keep its cleaning routine separate from changing either the head or battery. The package recommends replacing the refill head every three months and replacing it if it becomes loose through damage. Colgate’s Optic White replacement heads are specified for adult Colgate battery toothbrushes, and the fitting method is a gentle pull to remove and a press to attach the new head.
Replace the AA battery with the indicated polarity
Firmly hold the bottom of the handle while rotating the top counterclockwise to open it. Insert one AA battery as indicated inside the handle, then rotate clockwise to close firmly. Do not install the battery backward, recharge it or put it into a fire: it may leak or explode and cause injury. Keep batteries away from children, and seek immediate medical attention for suspected swallowing or insertion into the body.

Questions about this product
Are two brushes or a toothpaste tube included?
The supply is one Black Optic White Sonic brush with its fitted Soft head and one AA battery, UPC 827854024224. Toothpaste pictured alongside it is a separate product. The battery and brush do not form a two-toothbrush pack or a rechargeable kit with a charging dock.
How does the whitening feature work?
A rubber polisher on the head helps remove surface stains while brushing with the Soft bristles and sonic action. The brush produces thirty thousand strokes per minute. The whitening description is about surface-stain removal, rather than an included chemical whitening treatment or a guaranteed tooth-shade result.
Can the head be replaced, and how is it cared for?
Yes. Colgate specifies Optic White replacement heads for adult Colgate battery brushes. Gently pull the old head off and press the new one into place. Rinse after use, shake away excess water and store upright. Replace every three months or if the head becomes loose through damage.
What age and battery precautions are printed on the package?
The package identifies adults and children eight and older and requires adult supervision for people with disabilities. Fit one AA battery with the indicated polarity. Do not reverse it, recharge it or put it in a fire, and keep batteries away from children.
