Questions about this product
How much is in the bottle?
24 oz of scent booster beads, weighing 1.74 lb packed.
How do I use them?
Tip the beads straight into the empty washer drum before the clothes, not into the detergent drawer and not into the softener compartment. They need the wash water to dissolve, and a dispenser will not release them at the right point.
How many do I use per load?
Start with a quarter cap and adjust. Most people over-dose scent boosters on first use and end up with laundry that is overpowering rather than fresh. The cap has fill lines for a reason.
What do they actually do?
They release fragrance into the fabric during the wash that persists after drying, and they carry an odor eliminating rating. They are a scent product, not a cleaning one.
Do they replace detergent or softener?
Neither. They go in alongside your usual detergent. They do not clean and they do not soften.
How long does the scent last?
Weeks in stored fabric, which is the selling point. Bedding and towels put away with it keep the scent until used.
Can I use them in a front loader?
Yes, in the drum before loading. Do not put them in the dispenser drawer.
Will they stain clothes?
Not if they go into the drum before the clothes and dissolve in the wash water. Beads sitting directly on dry fabric in a low-water cycle can leave a mark.
Can I use them on towels or activewear?
On towels, yes, since they do not coat fiber the way softener does. On activewear the fragrance tends to build up in technical fabric, so most people skip it.
How do the 24 oz and 12.2 oz compare?
Same beads. The 24 oz is cheaper per load.
What is the UPC?
