. Before you clean: Test a small, hidden area for colorfastness and examine when dry. If color or texture is affected, do not use. When cleaning upholstery, look for manufacturer's cleanability tag. Use on fabrics coded ''WS'' or ''W''. Do not use on fabrics coded ''X'' and ''S'' on velvet, silk or leather, vinyl, or cotton. Before using, remove any solids and blot liquids with paper towel. Directions. Step 1: Shake can well. Apply spray evenly over area to be cleaned. Step 2: Spread foam with a damp mop or sponge, working it into carpet fibers until area is clean. For best results, spread foam in multiple directions. Remove excess (dirty) foam. Step 3: Allow area to dry completely, then vacuum. Drying time may vary due to humidity and length of carpet pile. Repeat as needed.
