Questions about this product
How many bags and what capacity?
140 bags at 13 gallons, the largest box in the ForceFlex range here.
What does ForceFlex do?
The film stretches rather than splitting when something sharp presses into it. It carries tear-resistant, puncture-resistant, and leakproof ratings together, which is what separates it from a basic bag and why it rates better than the Hefty listings in this batch.
What is the closure?
Drawstring, which closes the mouth and gives you something to lift by.
What does the Gain Original scent add?
It is the Gain laundry fragrance built into the bag, with an odor control rating. It works on everyday food waste over a few days rather than on genuinely rotting waste.
Is the scent too strong?
It is a strongly scented bag by design, and it is the most common reason people switch to the unscented ForceFlex. If anyone in the house reacts to fragrance, buy unscented.
Will it hold sharp waste?
Better than a basic bag, because the stretch absorbs a poke rather than splitting at it. Bones, glass, and can lids still get through; double bag those.
What is it made of?
Polyethylene. Not compostable, so general waste.
Will it fit my can?
13 gallon is the standard tall kitchen size. Measure a narrow or unusually tall can before buying 140 of them.
Is 140 count good value?
Per bag it is the cheapest way to buy this line. It is a large box, so check you have somewhere to keep it.
What is the UPC?
012587226186.
