What is in the pack?
Five scented oil refills at 0.67 oz each. These are refills only. The warmer is sold separately, so this is the wrong purchase if you do not already own one.
What scent is it?
Hawaiian Breeze, in the fruit family. It is a lighter, sweeter profile than the warm and spicy scents in the range.
How do I install a refill?
Remove the cap from the refill, insert it into the warmer, then plug the warmer in. Insert the refill before plugging in, and keep the warmer upright so oil does not track down the unit.
How long does one refill last?
It depends almost entirely on the warmer's intensity setting. On low a refill runs for weeks; on maximum it can be a fraction of that. Duration complaints are nearly always a warmer left on high.
Why does the scent seem to fade after a few days?
Two reasons. Olfactory adaptation means you stop registering a constant scent in your own home while visitors still notice it. Separately, a high setting burns through the top notes early. Turning the setting down usually works better than replacing the refill.
Does it fit any Glade warmer?
It fits the standard PlugIns warmer. It is not interchangeable with other brands, which use different refill fittings.
Where should I plug it in?
Mid-wall in an open part of the room, not under a shelf or behind furniture where airflow is blocked and heat can be trapped.
Can I leave it plugged in permanently?
It is designed for continuous use. Unplug it once a refill runs dry, because an empty warmer running on is the cause of most overheating complaints in this category.
Can I mix scents between rooms?
Yes, and most people do. Adjacent rooms with different scents tend to read as muddled rather than layered, so keep contrasting scents apart.
