Directions
Instructions: To open, hold top edges of bag and pull apart. To close, pinch seal at corner and slide thumb and finger along seal. (For best results, press air out of bag before sealing.) **Microwave Instructions: **For defrosting and reheating foods: Place bag on a microwave safe plate or dish. Open bag at least 1 inch to vent. Use short microwave duration of 2 minutes or less. Use defrost or medium to low power setting, do not use high power. Do not overheat food (above 120°F) or bag may melt and break. Use caution when removing bag from microwave as contents and bag may be hot. Bags are to be used for defrosting or reheating only. How many bags and what size?

How are these different from a storage bag?
They are built for the freezer, with a thicker film than a standard storage or sandwich bag. That extra thickness is what resists freezer burn over months rather than weeks.
What is the closure?
A double zipper with a pinch and seal action. Two tracks rather than one, which gives a firmer seal, and that matters more in a freezer where air is the enemy.
What is the label panel for?
A matte patch on the bag that takes pen without smearing, so you can write contents and a date. Frozen food you cannot identify gets thrown away, which is the whole reason the panel exists.
What does self standing mean?
The base is gusseted so the bag stands open on the counter while you fill it. Useful when you are filling one-handed with something wet.
How do I stop freezer burn?
Press the air out before sealing. Lay the bag flat, close it most of the way, then push the remaining air toward the opening and seal the last inch. Air left in the bag is what causes burn, not the bag itself.
Can I use them for sous vide or boiling?
No. They are not rated for heat. Use a bag made for it.
Are they BPA free?
Yes, BPA free polyethylene rated for food contact.
Can I reuse them?
For dry or clean contents, yes, after washing in warm soapy water and drying inverted. Not after raw meat or fish.
