Questions about this product

How many bags and what capacity?

80 bags at 13 gallons, the standard tall kitchen size.

What is the closure?

Drawstring, which closes the mouth and gives you a handle to lift with.

What does the Fabuloso scent do?

It is the lavender-forward Fabuloso fragrance built into the bag. It masks everyday food waste over a few days. It will not cover genuinely rotting waste, and a strong scent over a bad smell usually reads worse than the smell alone.

Are they actually strong?

This is the recurring complaint, with 22 quality negatives per 100 reviews. Ultra Strong is the name of the line rather than a measured rating, and reviewers compare it unfavorably with stretch-film bags at the same price. For heavy or sharp waste, double bag or use a thicker bag.

Is it recycled?

It contains 10% post-consumer recycled content.

Is it compostable?

No. It is plastic and goes in general waste.

Will it fit my can?

13 gallon is the standard tall kitchen size and fits most kitchen cans. Measure a narrow or unusually tall can, because a 13 gallon bag can come up short.

How do I stop the bag tearing when I lift it?

Do not overfill past the rim, and lift by the drawstring rather than the bag body. Most tearing happens at the rim when a full bag is dragged out by the sides.

Is the scent too strong for some people?

It is a strongly scented bag by design. If anyone in the house reacts to fragrance, buy an unscented bag instead.

What is the UPC?

013700295744.
