Moldex Mold & Mildew Killer Spray is a ready-to-use, bleach-free trigger spray for routine cleaning and controlling mold, mildew and odor on hard, nonporous indoor surfaces. The 32 fl. oz. bottle is formulated to disinfect and deodorize bathrooms, kitchens, basements and other moist indoor areas.

Use on washable surfaces such as tile, sinks, counters and tubs. Follow label directions for contact time when using as a disinfectant, fungicide or virucide.

Directions

DISINFECTION DIRECTIONS Preclean prior to disinfection. Spray 6-8 inches from surface, until surfaces are thoroughly wet. Do not breathe spray. Treated surfaces must remain wet for 1 minute for disinfection against bacteria. Follow virucidal or Fungicidal directions when using as a virucidal or fungicidal agent. Wipe dry with a clean cloth, sponge, mop or allow to air dry. Food contact surfaces must be rinsed with potable water after disinfection. Do not use on utensils, glassware and dishes. VIRUCIDAL DIRECTIONS Follow disinfection directions for application instructions. Treated surfaces must remain wet for 10 minutes for Herpes Simplex Type 2 and 60 seconds for Influenza/Hong Kong. MOLD AND MILDEW CONTROL DIRECTIONS Moldex Mold Killer effectively inhibits the growth of mold and mildew and the odors caused by them when applied to hard, nonporous surfaces. Follow disinfection instructions. Allow to air dry on surface. Repeat every 7 days, or when mold or mildew growth returns. FUNGICIDAL DIRECTIONS Moldex Mold Killer is an effective fungicide against Trichophyton mentagrophytes (the Athlete’s Foot Fungus) (a cause of ringworm) in areas such as locker rooms, dressing rooms, shower and bath areas, exercise facilities, health clubs and spas. Follow disinfection directions for application instructions. Treated surfaces must remain wet for 10 minutes. This product is not for use on medical device surfaces.

Moldex WILL fulfill the it's PROMISE!!!

This product worked a miracle in my shower!!! I sprayed it on the dark mold on the bottom of my glass shower door, let it sit for a "few minutes" then lightly scrubbed with a narrow brush and every iota of the mold was REMOVED!! Rinsed with hot water and my shower is spotless. I recommend this product without reservation!!!

This product is the best product if you are having a mold/Mildew problem.
Personally, I usually just use bleach but this spray is fast acting. I mean I instantly saw the mold just dying. I was very sick due to mold exposure. I used this spray and within one day I stopped having difficulty breathing. Once I sprayed this I let it sit over night and the next day I cleaned all the surfaces with warm soapy water I could feel the difference.
Even if you want to use it for a less extreme situation, it is worth every penny.
The smell was not extreme, you can smell it but it isn't irritating.
Very simple to use not messy.

The smell under my sink was eliminated. Found the problem was my dishwasher hose. Was getting a bad odor. This wiped out the smell. Hasn't come back and it's been about a week. The smell even was going into the cabinet doors. Spray those too. Whew!

Effective solution for tough bathroom mold

I bought this to tackle a significant mold issue on my apartment shower ceiling. Because my partner is diabetic and I suffer from severe allergies, the hospital-grade moldicide was a huge selling point-I needed to be certain the mold was actually dead, not just bleached.

The application is straightforward: spray, wait 10 minutes, and wipe. It took several passes to clear the heavy growth, and I did have to stop eventually to avoid damaging the ceiling paint. It does have a strong chemical odor, so I highly recommend using fans for ventilation. Overall, it works exactly as promised when you follow the directions. I'd definitely buy it again for the peace of mind it provides.

I found mold on the ceiling of a hallway nook where air does not circulate well. I tried a few home remedies but it kept coming back, until I bought this stuff. it has not come back. now I have to find a good stain remover.
