How does this differ from Sparkle Tear-A-Square?
Tear-A-Square adds quarter-sheet perforation so you can take a small square. This is the standard pick-a-size towel with half-sheet perforation. Same brand, fewer tear options, lower price.
What size sheet does it tear?
Half sheets, perforated at each tear point.
Does a double roll mean twice a regular roll?
Roughly. Six double rolls is about 12 regular rolls, so you change the roll half as often.
How absorbent is it?
The sheets are embossed, which creates the pockets that hold liquid. It is a value towel, so a heavy spill takes more sheets than a premium towel would.
Can I use it in a microwave or for draining food?
Yes. Plain paper with no lotion or coating.
Does it hold together when wet?
Adequately for wiping. Scrubbing hard with a soaked sheet will tear it, which is the main theme in the complaints.
