Questions about this product
How many loads does the jug do?
260 loads from 312 fluid ounces, which is the highest load count in anything written so far.
How heavy is it?
22.27 lb full. This is not a jug you lift with one hand or store on a high shelf. Set it on a low surface or a washer top and dispense from there.
How do I get detergent out of a jug that size?
Through the spout, with the jug standing on a surface at or below waist height. Spout and jug are the two words that come up in the negative reviews, and almost always because someone tried to pour a 22 pound bottle by lifting it.
How much do I use per load?
Dose by the cap lines. A 260 load jug only reaches 260 loads at the marked dose, and overpouring is the main reason a large jug runs out early.
Is it color safe?
Yes, listed color safe, so it runs on mixed loads without stripping dye.
Does it work in a high efficiency machine?
Yes, it carries a high efficiency feature. Use the lower cap line in an HE drum, which washes with much less water.
What does it smell like?
Tropical Passion, in the fresh scent family. It is a strong, distinctly fruity scent and it is what most of the positive reviews mention alongside the price.
Does it work in cold water?
Yes, it is a liquid and disperses in cold without the residue a powder can leave.
Is it a concentrate?
It is a standard liquid rather than an ultra concentrate, which is why 260 loads takes 312 ounces. Read the cap, not the bottle size.
Is the value real at this size?
Price and value are the two most repeated words in the positive reviews. Cost per load at 260 loads is the lowest in the category, and the trade is a jug that needs a dedicated spot.
Where should I store it?
Upright, somewhere it does not have to be moved, and away from freezing. A liquid detergent that freezes and thaws can separate.
What is the UPC?
094514007068.
