About this product

Cascade Clean & Dry Booster rinse aid, 8.45 fluid ounces

Cascade Clean & Dry Booster is a liquid rinse aid for automatic dishwashers, supplied in one bottle with 8.45 fluid ounces, or 250 milliliters. The purple bottle has a green cap and an easy-pour, no-drip dispensing design. Choose it when you want a rinse-cycle aid for drying and spot prevention, used in the dishwasher's dedicated rinse-aid dispenser under the product and appliance directions.

Better drying and spot prevention

The bottle's 5X better drying claim is compared with detergent alone. Cascade also describes spot prevention and performance in hard water among this booster's purposes. Keep the stated detergent-alone benchmark with the drying comparison when choosing a rinse aid. Follow your dishwasher's loading and cycle instructions as well, including any requirements for drying settings and the care of the glasses, dishes, or cookware in the load.

Fill the rinse-aid dispenser until it indicates full

The directions say to locate the dispenser on the dishwasher door and fill it until it indicates full. Use the rinse-aid compartment identified in your appliance manual. The bottle illustrates using the booster with Cascade detergent, with each product placed in its designated compartment. Check the machine's instructions for opening and closing the rinse-aid dispenser and for the indicator that marks its proper fill level.

Weekly refill guidance and the advertised load count

For best results, the bottle recommends refilling weekly. Check the dispenser's indicator and follow the appliance's fill guidance as part of that routine. The advertised 80-load quantity is based on the average rinse-aid release of leading dishwashers. Your machine's rinse-aid release and settings affect how the liquid is used, so use the dispenser indication and machine directions when planning the next refill.

Named ingredients and phosphate-free formula

The ingredient declaration includes alcohol, C10-16 alcohols ethoxylated propoxylated, citric acid, colorants, fragrances, isotridecanol ethoxylated, PEG/PPG propylheptyl ether, sodium citrate, sodium cumenesulfonate, water, and zinc chloride. The bottle also identifies the formula as phosphate free. Check those names and the actual package's complete information when ingredients matter to your household's choice of a rinse aid for the automatic dishwasher.

Keep the rinse aid with its original directions

Retain the bottle's product identification while you use the supply and close its cap after dispensing. The label states that it is not for hand dishwashing and says not to reuse the bottle. Keep the rinse aid out of reach of children and follow its handling directions, including avoiding eye contact. Its intended use is through the automatic dishwasher's rinse-aid dispenser under the fill instructions.

Pair the dispenser routine with the dishwasher settings

Before changing rinse-aid settings, read the appliance manual for the controls and release adjustments available on your particular machine. Keep the dispenser supplied under the bottle's weekly guidance and the machine's full indicator. Continue using your dishwasher detergent according to its separate directions for the load. This places the Clean & Dry Booster rinse aid within the machine's intended rinsing routine while keeping both products in their proper compartments.

A handy boost for cleaner, drier dishes

This rinse aid is a helpful part of a dishwasher routine. It helps water run off dishes better, so there are fewer water spots and they dry better. It's especially useful for glasses and other dishes that tend to spot after washing. The small bottle is easy to keep near the dishwasher, and a rinse aid can give everyday dishes a more polished look.

I DEFINITELY noticed fewer spots.

I DEFINITELY noticed a difference with spots. I don't run the dishwasher much. We live in Nevada, and for six months of the year it's 100 degrees or hotter, so heating up the kitchen is the last thing you want. I knew I should still run it a few times a month to keep it in good shape, so I started running loads of cups and glasses. After it sat unused for a while, the glasses were covered in spots. I couldn't remember when I'd last filled the reservoir, so I bought Cascade Rinse Aid. The glasses look really different now, without that "foggy" look. I'll buy it again.

I can really tell the difference between using this and not using it! I won't run a load of dishes without it!

This stuff is great! It's amazing how spotless glasses come out with a rinse aid. You can definitely tell when it's time to refill it.

What else can I say? It works well for me. I've been using it for a long time, and since I don't have soft water, it takes care of the water spots.

A bit pricey

A good product that really does work well.

I haven't tried many, just one really bad off brand that came with the house when I bought it. We've always used Cascade in our dishwasher, and this hasn't given me any reason to regret it. The bigger bottle saved a lot of money too, since my dishwasher holds a lot of rinse aid. Most people don't know this, but look it up: in some dishwashers, rinse aid affects how well it works. I learned that through a $150 service call.

Spotless and totally dry

This rinse aid completely changed my kitchen routine! I used to hate seeing water spots on my glasses, but now everything comes out sparkling and fully dry. It works even better than I hoped and saves me so much time, since I don't need to hand dry anything now.

My glasses don't have water spots anymore

[Incentivized review]

I got Cascade Rinse Aid Clean and Dry Booster through a review program in exchange for my honest opinion. This rinse aid has really changed things in our house. We're on a well, so we sometimes get spots after running the dishwasher. Now that I use Cascade Rinse Aid, our glasses don't get water spots anymore. I'm very happy with it!!

No difference that I could see.

[Incentivized review]

I got this free in exchange for an honest review. I've used Cascade for most of my adult life, so I had high hopes. Our dishes always come out a little wet, and I hoped this booster would fix that. We used it several times and got the same results. The bottoms of our glasses and drink containers were still very wet. I saw no difference compared to not using it. The dishes were still wet, and our silverware and glasses still had spots.
