About this product

Clorox2 For Colors bleach-free2-in-1 liquid stain remover - Fresh. This option contains 1 bottle × 33 fl oz.

A 33-fluid-ounce Fresh-scent laundry and fabric stain fighter

Clorox 2 For Colors 2-in-1 Laundry + Fabric Stain Remover comes in one bottle containing thirty-three fluid ounces, or 975 milliliters. The bleach-free stain fighter uses boosted peroxide to help remove stains, tackle odors and brighten colors. Choose the Fresh scent for suitable laundry and household fabrics, following the application method and care instructions for the item you plan to treat.

Pretreat small laundry stains for five to ten minutes

Apply directly to a suitable clothing stain, rub it in and let it stand for five to ten minutes. Do not allow the product to dry on the fabric. Wash as usual with detergent and Clorox 2 For Colors, following the garment-care label. Test for colorfastness in an inconspicuous area before treating unfamiliar fabrics or a visible part of the garment.

Use the specific dilution for soaking larger stains

For larger laundry stains, the directions specify one capful of Clorox 2 For Colors mixed with one quart of water. Soak for up to sixty minutes, then wash as usual with detergent and Clorox 2 For Colors. Follow the current bottle and garment-care instructions when preparing the soak. The dilution and longer timing belong to this soaking method.

Measure by washer type when brightening colors in the wash

To brighten colors, fill the cap to line one for a high-efficiency machine or line two for a standard machine. Add the measured product to the detergent tray if the machine has one, or pour it directly into the drum. Wash with detergent and follow the washer's operating instructions, along with the care requirements for the fabrics in the load.

Blot treated soft surfaces after the short contact time

For suitable carpets, couches, upholstery, car-seat fabrics or pet beds, use the cap to pour product onto the stained fabric or apply it with a clean towel until covered. Allow five to ten minutes, then blot with a clean damp towel to remove residue. Test an inconspicuous area first and keep children and pets away from the treated surface until it is dry.

Check fabric suitability and handling before treatment

Do not use on water-spotting fabrics such as suede, leather or silk, or on clothing while it is being worn. Check the item's care instructions before treating. The ingredient information includes peroxide, cleaning surfactants and fragrance; consult the complete current statement for components you avoid. Avoid eye and skin contact and keep the original labeled bottle out of children's and pets' reach.

Questions about this product

Should Clorox 2 For Colors be diluted before every use?

The product is ready to use for the directed spot-treatment methods. For a larger laundry stain, the soaking directions specify one capful in one quart of water for up to sixty minutes. Follow the current bottle instructions for the chosen method. Small clothing stains receive five to ten minutes of pretreatment before washing, without letting the product dry.

Which cap line should I use when adding it to the wash?

For color brightening, fill to line one for a high-efficiency washer or line two for a standard washer. Add to the detergent tray if the machine has one, or directly to the drum, and wash with detergent. Follow the washer and garment-care instructions and test unfamiliar fabrics in an inconspicuous area before treatment.

Can I use it on a couch or carpet stain?

For suitable soft surfaces, cover the stain by pouring with the cap or applying product with a clean towel. Wait five to ten minutes, then blot with a clean damp towel to remove residue. Test first, avoid water-spotting fabrics such as suede, leather and silk, and keep children and pets away until the treated surface dries.

Brightens and lifts stains

I like adding this to my towels and other big loads, and sometimes to my clothes when they need a boost or have bad stains. It seems to brighten things, especially the towels.

Best one I've tried

[Incentivized review]

I used to be an Era guy, then switched to Tide. Over the years I noticed both slipped a bit and didn't work as well.

I spotted this on the shelf at a local grocery store. It cost a little more, but I picked it up anyway, and it's the best I've found. A little really does go a long way. It keeps darks dark a bit longer, though they'll still fade over time. It smells great and makes clothes look great!

Items shipped right before they expire

Why do customers keep getting sent products that expire in 48 hours? I'm a single disabled man and I can't eat 6 sausages in two days.

A laundry must-have!

We've used Clorox 2 pretty much since it came out and have been happy with it for decades. It really does freshen laundry and get it cleaner. Thanks for a great product! Ha ha, I still remember the jingle from when I was a kid in the 70's:

"if you've got a mess on colors or press, use Clorox 2". I guess permanent press was a big deal back then!

Impressive stain remover

[Incentivized review]

I gave this a try and I'm really impressed. I had a shirt with mildew stains, so I put a little on them and let it sit about 30 minutes before washing, and the stains came out completely. I'll be keeping this on hand. It's color safe and didn't harm the colors at all.

Clorox 2 for Colors Stain Remover, 2 in 1 laundry fabric bleach. A great product! I've bought and used it for years, and I know I can still count on it! <3

When I want something clean, this is what I reach for. It isn't harsh on fabrics, even my delicates, and it gets stains out pretty well. Sometimes you need to wash twice or let it sit for an hour, and when I let it sit, it handles even blood. It's also good at removing hair dye when you accidentally get some on a T shirt, so it's an excellent buy. I just wish the container were a little bigger, since I use it a lot.

Clorox 2 for Colors Stain Remover has become a handy part of my laundry routine. I like having something that tackles stains but is made for colored clothes, so I feel more confident treating everyday stains without grabbing regular chlorine bleach. I've seen a difference on common stains from food, drinks, dirt, and daily wear. It loosens stains in the wash, and clothes come out cleaner and fresher looking. I also add it to regular loads when clothes need a little extra cleaning power. The 2 in 1 formula is convenient since it works as a laundry booster and a fabric stain remover, so I don't need to keep several separate stain treatments around. It's easy to use and fits right into my usual washing routine. I get extra cleaning power without spending time pretreating every item. It's been a big help in keeping my family's clothes clean and fresh, especially for everyday laundry where stains and spills come with the territory.

[Incentivized review] Love it. It works on colors and is great on whites too. For tough stains I poured it straight on, let it sit a bit, and the stain came right out. Given how well it worked, the value is great. The scent is fresh and clean.

[Incentivized review] I tried this and I'm really impressed. I had a shirt with mildew stains, put a little on them, let it sit about 30 minutes before washing, and the stains were completely gone. I'll keep this on hand. It's safe on colors and didn't harm them at all.

[Incentivized review] I've been using this about every 3 days, and it's been really helpful. It gets most fresh stains out of my kids' clothes, like juice, chocolate, and strawberries. Colors stay bright, the smell isn't strong, and it's safe for sensitive skin. Tougher stains sometimes need two washes, and it didn't do as well on older, set in stains.
