About this product
Clorox Disinfecting Bleach liquid, regular formula - Original. This option contains 1 bottle × 43 fl oz.
43-fluid-ounce Clorox Disinfecting Bleach
Clorox Disinfecting Liquid Bleach Cleaner in the Regular variant comes in a 43-fluid-ounce bottle. This is concentrated liquid chlorine bleach with sodium hypochlorite as the active ingredient. Its intended functions include cleaning, disinfecting hard, nonporous surfaces, whitening, brightening, and removing odors. That combination makes the product relevant to both household surface care and laundry. Check the Disinfecting Bleach name, Regular variant, and 43-fluid-ounce size when choosing this bottle, and follow its label for the task you plan to complete.
Disinfecting hard, nonporous surfaces
For household surface use, distinguish a material that is hard and nonporous from an absorbent material or fabric. The disinfecting directions apply to compatible hard, nonporous surfaces when the bleach is diluted and used as directed. Pre-wash the surface, then use the bleach solution according to the bottle’s directions. The required wet contact time is part of the procedure, followed by rinsing and air drying as directed. A quick wipe and a complete disinfecting procedure involve different steps, so choose the instructions for the intended result.
Whitening and brightening bleachable laundry
Clorox Disinfecting Bleach can be used in standard and HE washing machines on bleachable fabrics. It works alongside laundry detergent to help whiten, brighten, and remove stains. Sort laundry and check the fabric care label before adding bleach. Use the washing machine’s bleach dispenser or the measured wash-water method described on the bottle. Whitening laundry and sanitizing bleachable fabrics have different label directions, so follow the procedure that matches the wash task rather than applying one dose to every use.
Choosing compatible materials
The product’s household uses include kitchen and bathroom cleaning and mold or mildew removal on compatible surfaces. Material selection matters even within the same room. Clorox advises avoiding marble, quartz, brass, mirrors, painted surfaces, and unsealed wood, along with wool, silk, spandex, and leather. Check both the item’s care guidance and the bleach label before use. When selecting a cleaner, match the surface material and intended result first, then use the appropriate dilution and application instructions for that job.
Dilution and bleach-handling precautions
Always dilute with water before use and follow the bottle’s complete directions. Never mix bleach with ammonia or acidic products, and do not combine it with other household cleaners. Wear gloves and use the product in a well-ventilated area. Keep the bottle out of reach of children and pets. The concentrated format requires measured use for the intended job; retain the labeled container so its directions and precautions stay available whenever you prepare a cleaning solution or use bleach in the wash.

I've used this brand for years and it has never let me down. My kitchen is all white except the appliances, so I wipe the counters and pretty much everything with it. It does the job right on the first try. I also use Clorox to sanitize the light switches, doorknobs, and toilets around my house.

I really like it. It cleans well and clears clogged pipes. I pour some down our tub drains, and it helps the pipes and disinfects the tub too.

I keep this in a heavy-duty spray bottle. I spray down my kitchens and bathrooms, and I add a little to the dishwasher. It cleans well and leaves a clean smell. I picked up one of those electronic wands with a special light that shows contamination or bacteria. I was shocked by what it showed on my cabinets, so I started buying this. Now when I shine the light, everything looks perfect. For survival situations, think end of civilization with no power and no food: if you find water, strain it through a cloth. Even a dirty cloth works. You just want to get the big stuff out. Then add 8 drops of this to the water, shake it, and let it sit for 10 minutes. Water you just scooped from a pond, creek, or river is now sterilized. That's a lot of usefulness. It only takes 8 drops to sterilize a gallon. Everyone should keep this at home as part of their survival gear and everyday supplies.

I hardly ever wear white, so very little of my bleach ever touches clothes. It gets the less glamorous work around the house instead: scrubbing bathrooms when something starts to smell, sanitizing nursery gear before it gets used again, and handling organic stains on suitable surfaces once they've overstayed their welcome. These days there's a special cleaner for almost everything, and I own a few. But some problems don't need a new formula, a nice botanical scent, or a marketing team. They need bleach. This is a big bottle of Clorox bleach. It sanitizes, lifts stains, and convinces certain odors to move out. That's why it lives in my house.

Some things stay the same because they keep working. I've used Clorox bleach my whole life, and it's been around even longer than that, more than a hundred years. It's still the best cleaner for most surfaces and among the strongest disinfectants you can get. Counters, toilets, showers, laundry, it really does it all. A small amount goes far, so it's well worth buying.

About this product
Clorox Disinfecting Bleach liquid, regular formula - Original. This option contains 1 bottle × 121 fl oz.
121 fluid ounces of concentrated disinfecting bleach
Clorox Disinfecting Liquid Bleach Cleaner in the Regular variant comes in one 121-fluid-ounce bottle. Its active ingredient is sodium hypochlorite at a listed concentration of 7.5 percent. This liquid chlorine bleach is intended for household cleaning and label-directed laundry use. The five functions are cleaning, disinfecting compatible hard, nonporous surfaces, whitening, brightening, and removing odors. Match the Disinfecting Bleach name and 121-fluid-ounce volume when selecting this bottle, then use the instructions for the job you plan to complete.
Hard, nonporous surface use
The disinfecting function applies to compatible hard, nonporous surfaces when the bleach is diluted and used as directed. Kitchen and bathroom uses include suitable sinks, countertops, tubs, and shower surfaces. Pre-wash the surface before applying the bleach solution, and keep it wet for the contact time required on the label. Rinse and air dry as directed. The steps and contact time matter to the intended result, so measure and apply according to the specific instructions rather than treating every cleaning task alike.
Laundry whitening and stain removal
Clorox Disinfecting Bleach can be used with laundry detergent in standard and high-efficiency washing machines on bleachable fabrics. It helps whiten and brighten laundry and remove stains. Sort the wash and check the garment care label before adding chlorine bleach. Use the bleach dispenser or measured wash-water method described by the bottle and washing machine. Directions for whitening laundry and sanitizing bleachable fabrics differ, making the intended wash task a useful starting point for choosing the correct label instructions.
Materials to check before cleaning
A household surface’s material is part of choosing a suitable cleaner. Clorox advises avoiding marble, quartz, brass, mirrors, painted surfaces, and unsealed wood. Wool, silk, spandex, and leather are also among the materials to avoid. Check the item’s care information alongside the bleach label before use. A disinfecting bleach’s intended functions do not make every surface compatible. Select the material and task first, then follow the appropriate dilution, application, rinsing, and drying procedure for that use.
Measured use and handling precautions
Always dilute with water before use and keep the complete label available on the original bottle. Wear gloves, work in a well-ventilated area, and keep the product out of reach of children and pets. Never mix bleach with ammonia, acidic products, or other household cleaners. The 121-fluid-ounce size describes the amount supplied, while the measured amount for a job comes from the task-specific directions. Keep those two quantities separate when comparing bottle sizes or preparing a solution for cleaning.

About this product
Clorox Disinfecting Bleach liquid, regular formula - Original. This option contains 1 bottle × 81 fl oz.
Regular Clorox Disinfecting Bleach, 81 fluid ounces
Clorox Disinfecting Liquid Bleach Cleaner in the Regular variant comes in an 81-fluid-ounce bottle. It is concentrated liquid chlorine bleach with sodium hypochlorite listed at 7.5 percent. The product combines household cleaning uses with label-directed laundry care. Its five functions are cleaning, disinfecting compatible hard, nonporous surfaces, whitening, brightening, and removing odors. Select the 81-fluid-ounce size and Disinfecting Bleach name when matching this bottle, then use the label directions for the particular job rather than another bleach format’s instructions.
For compatible kitchen and bathroom surfaces
Household uses include suitable sinks, countertops, tubs, and shower surfaces, with mold and mildew removal among the stated cleaning jobs. The disinfecting function is for hard, nonporous surfaces when the product is diluted and used as directed. Pre-wash the surface before applying the bleach solution. Keep it wet for the required contact time and complete the rinsing and air-drying steps specified on the label. Those steps distinguish a complete disinfecting procedure from a brief wipe during routine cleaning.
Bleach-compatible laundry in standard or HE washers
Use this bleach with laundry detergent to help whiten, brighten, and remove stains from bleachable fabrics. The directions cover standard and high-efficiency washing machines. Sort the wash, read garment care labels, and use the machine’s bleach dispenser or the measured wash-water method specified on the bottle. Laundry whitening and sanitizing bleachable fabrics have their own directions, so choose the correct procedure for the intended result. The bottle size tells you the supply available; the label tells you the measured amount for the wash.
Choosing a surface or fabric that can be treated
Clorox advises against using bleach on marble, quartz, brass, mirrors, painted surfaces, and unsealed wood. Wool, silk, spandex, and leather are also among the materials to avoid. Check the item’s care requirements before using a bleach solution, even if the cleaning job is in a kitchen or bathroom. Material compatibility comes before selecting a cleaning method. Keep that check together with the product’s dilution and application instructions so the intended task and the surface being treated are considered together.
Dilution, ventilation and keeping the label available
Dilute with water before use, wear gloves, and work in a well-ventilated area. Never mix bleach with ammonia, acids, or other household cleaners. Keep the product out of reach of children and pets, and retain it in its labeled bottle so the complete directions remain available. The concentrated format calls for measured use for the task. For reordering, match the Regular variant, the 81-fluid-ounce volume, and UPC 044600322636 to identify the same size of Clorox Disinfecting Bleach.
