About this product
Two Soft Total Active Prevention Whitening brushes
This Colgate Total Active Prevention Whitening selection contains two complete Black manual toothbrushes with Soft bristles, UPC 827854016953. Each has its own handle and brushing head, so the pair can be assigned separately or one can be kept for later use. The two-count describes complete toothbrushes, rather than refill heads that need a powered handle. Match the Whitening variety and Soft marking when comparing other Total brushes.
Charcoal-infused spiral bristles and a dense head
This exact Whitening design uses charcoal-infused spiral bristles, confirmed on the selected package and Colgate’s product page. More than 5,000 high-density bristles make up the brushing surface. The dense arrangement and spiral design help with surface-stain cleaning during manual brushing. The charcoal feature belongs to the bristles; it does not mean this package contains a separate charcoal toothpaste, powder or whitening treatment.
Floss-Tip bristles have a specific role
Soft Floss-Tip bristles are intended to reach along the gumline and between teeth. Colgate explicitly states that this brush does not replace flossing. Keep that distinction when planning a brushing routine: the bristle design is a feature of the toothbrush, rather than an included flossing accessory or a reason to discard separate floss. Both complete brushes in the pack have the selected Whitening head design.
Center pads help the brushing foam
The center pads and high-density bristles help build foam while brushing with toothpaste. This is a manually guided toothbrush, with no battery, motor or charging stand. Toothpaste is a separate supply. The Whitening name concerns helping remove surface stains during brushing; it does not establish a guaranteed shade change or the results of separate toothpaste and mouthwash shown alongside the wider Total product range.
Care for and replace each whole toothbrush
After use, rinse the toothbrush thoroughly, shake off excess water and store it upright. The package recommends replacing the complete toothbrush every three months. Apply that interval to each brush’s own routine rather than assuming that a two-pack guarantees a fixed number of months for every household. If one brush is saved for later, keep track of which brush is currently in use.

Questions about this product
Is this a two-pack of Soft brushes or two refill heads?
It is two complete Black Soft manual Colgate Total Active Prevention Whitening toothbrushes, UPC 827854016953. Each includes its own handle and head. They do not need a powered handle, and no battery or charger is required for their manual brushing action.
Are the bristles charcoal infused?
Yes. This exact Whitening variety has charcoal-infused spiral bristles, alongside Soft Floss-Tip bristles and a high-density brushing surface. The feature should be matched to this product’s own package, because a similar dark-colored toothbrush or another Colgate variety can use a different head design.
Does the Floss-Tip design replace flossing?
No. Colgate specifically says this brush does not replace flossing. The Floss-Tip bristles help reach along the gumline and between teeth during brushing. The two-pack contains toothbrushes only, so toothpaste and any separate flossing supplies must be provided separately.
How should the brushes be stored and replaced?
Rinse thoroughly after use, shake off excess water and store upright. Replace each complete toothbrush every three months as recommended. Track the two brushes individually if they are opened at different times or used by different people; the pack does not promise a fixed household duration.

About this product
One black soft manual toothbrush
This Colgate Total Active Prevention Soft Whitening Toothbrush is the black, one-brush selection. It is a complete manual adult toothbrush with soft bristles, rather than a replacement head for an electric handle. Its head combines black outer bristle areas with a contrasting central cleaning area. The package count is one, so a second brush, a tube of toothpaste and mouthwash are separate items.
Bristle features designed for brushing and surface stains
Colgate describes charcoal-infused spiral bristles and Floss-Tip bristles designed to reach along the gumline and between teeth. The high-density center area helps polish away surface stains and disrupt plaque buildup during brushing. Whitening here refers to removing surface stains; the brush is not a peroxide treatment. The Floss-Tip name also has an important limit: Colgate states that this toothbrush does not replace flossing.
Foaming action with the toothpaste you choose
The dense bristle arrangement is designed for rapid foaming and toothpaste delivery while brushing. Toothpaste must be added separately; the bristles do not supply a built-in dose of paste. The black handle and manual design mean there is no battery to charge or powered mode to select. Choose the brush for its soft bristle rating and cleaning-head design, rather than expecting a motorized brushing action.
Replacing and storing a daily-use brush
The care information recommends replacing the toothbrush every three months and storing it in a dry place. Check its condition during use instead of treating that interval as a guaranteed lifespan. Stop using it if irritation occurs. Packaging artwork may appear in either of the illustrated designs during the packaging transition, while the selected offer remains one black soft whitening toothbrush.

Questions about this product
Is the selected pack one brush or two?
This selection contains one complete Colgate Total Active Prevention Soft Whitening Toothbrush. The one-brush package marking establishes the quantity even though other pack sizes exist in the range. Toothpaste and mouthwash appearing in routine illustrations are separate products and do not turn this into a multi-item oral-care kit.
How does its whitening feature work?
Colgate describes polishing away surface stains with the specially designed bristles and high-density center area. This is mechanical surface-stain removal during brushing. It does not establish a bleach ingredient in the brush, a guaranteed number of shades of whitening or a fixed time for a visible result.
Do Floss-Tip bristles replace dental floss?
No. Colgate specifically says this brush does not replace flossing. The name describes bristles intended to reach along the gumline and between teeth while brushing. Keep any separate interdental-cleaning routine recommended for your teeth instead of treating the bristle name as an instruction to stop that routine.
Is this an electric toothbrush head?
No. It is a complete manual toothbrush with its own handle. It does not attach to an electric base, require a charger or provide a selectable powered speed. If you need an electric replacement head, check the precise handle and head system rather than selecting this complete manual brush.
What does the soft rating mean for this selection?
The selected toothbrush is labeled Soft. Choose that stated bristle rating rather than applying descriptions from a different brush or a shopper’s comparison. If you have specific dental needs, follow your dental professional’s guidance about the brush and technique that suit your own mouth.
When should it be replaced?
The product information recommends replacement every three months. Inspect the head and handle during normal use and do not continue using a damaged or uncomfortable brush simply to reach a calendar date. Store it in a dry place and stop use if irritation occurs.
