I'm handicapped and live alone. Cook most things in the microwave. Use these instead of doing dishes. Sturdy enough to hold anything I make and not real expensive!

Pros: - Very strong for a paper plate-handles a plate of dinner without dumping or dissolving. - Beautifully designed for semi-formal gatherings like ladies' lunches or book club. - Affordable for the amount; 50-pack lasts about a month in my household. - Withstand cutting with a butter knife or plastic knife-don't worry about cutting through. Wouldn't use a steak knife, but performs well. Cons: - Hard to crush. I like to flatten paper waste when disposing; while thick and sturdy for eating, I had a hard time flattening these. Ended up stacking with edges ridged. Overall wonderful experiences. Highly recommend.

Tried quite a few disposable plate brands over the years-Dixie Ultra are still the ones I come back to. Sturdy enough for heavier meals without bending or leaking through-huge plus when you don't want food in your lap. Used for quick lunches to full dinners; hold up really well.
