About this product
April Fresh softness for the rinse cycle
Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Softener combines a softer fabric feel with a sweet, floral, clean fragrance. This offer contains one 100 fl oz bottle, equal to 2.98 liters, labeled for up to 136 medium loads. The Fresh + Soft 2-in-1 formula is a liquid rinse conditioner for compatible washable clothing and household laundry. Choose it when you want April Fresh scent together with fabric conditioning, while continuing to use your usual detergent for the main wash.
Downy helps reduce static and wrinkles and helps protect clothing against stretching, fading and fuzz. Those fabric-care benefits make it useful for maintaining the feel and appearance of garments that permit softener. It works in standard and high efficiency washing machines, including top- and front-loading HE models. Read each garment's care label before conditioning a mixed load so that items requiring special treatment can be separated and washed according to their own instructions.
Use the cap and the softener compartment
After adding your usual detergent, measure Downy for the size of the load. The bottle's cap diagram shows the lower bar 1 measurement for medium loads and bar 2 for large HE loads. It also allows up to a full cap for extra softness and freshness. The up-to-136-load count uses the medium measurement. Larger measurements consume more liquid and provide fewer washes, so a full cap is not the measurement behind that load estimate.
Pour the measurement into the designated fabric softener dispenser, use it with a Downy Ball according to its instructions, or add it directly to rinse water. Consult the washing machine manual to locate the correct compartment and choose the appropriate rinse setting. Keep concentrated liquid off the fabric itself. The product belongs in the rinse-conditioning step, where it can be distributed through the load; adding it as though it were wash detergent does not follow its intended role.
Follow fabric restrictions and choose the right format
Do not use this softener on fluffier fabrics such as fleece, velour, chenille or terry cloth, or on children's sleepwear and garments labeled flame resistant. Liquid fabric softener can increase fabric flammability, and using more than recommended increases that effect. These restrictions still apply when other promotional images show a broad range of laundry. Check the garment labels and the bottle warning before adding conditioner, and measure deliberately for the actual load.
The bottle contains softening agents and fragrance, including fragrance allergens. April Fresh is a scented formula rather than an unperfumed choice. Keep the original bottle closed, out of children's reach, and avoid eye contact or swallowing. This offer includes one liquid softener bottle; April Fresh scent beads and dryer sheets are separate products with different application methods. Match the liquid format, 100 fl oz size and 136-medium-load label when choosing the same bottle again.

Questions about this product
What does April Fresh smell like?
April Fresh has a sweet, floral, clean fragrance. This liquid adds that scent while conditioning compatible fabrics. It contains fragrance allergens and is not an unscented softener.
Where should I put Downy in the washer?
Use the designated softener dispenser, a Downy Ball according to its directions, or the rinse water. Follow the machine manual for the compartment and rinse settings. Continue using separate detergent for cleaning.
How much do I measure for medium and large HE loads?
Follow the bottle's cap diagram: the lower bar 1 measurement is for medium loads, and bar 2 is for large HE loads. Up to a full cap may be used for extra softness and freshness, subject to the fabric restrictions.
Will this bottle provide 136 loads with a full cap each time?
No. The up-to-136-load label is based on medium measurements. Using larger amounts, including a full cap, reduces the number of washes from this single 100 fl oz bottle.

About this product
April Fresh fabric conditioner in a small bottle
Downy April Fresh liquid fabric conditioner comes in one 10 fl oz bottle. The package is marked for 12 medium loads, tying that count to its medium-load measure. It supplies the April Fresh fragrance and a fabric-softening step in the laundry routine. This is a liquid fabric conditioner rather than detergent or dry scent beads, so continue using detergent separately for washing. The compact bottle is useful when you prefer a smaller amount on hand, while the cap provides the measuring lines for this size.
Follow this bottle’s two-line dose guide
Shake the bottle before measuring. For medium loads, fill the cap to its bottom line; for larger loads, use the top line. Pour the measured conditioner into the fabric softener dispenser. If the washer uses a center-agitator dispenser, top it off with water as directed, following the appliance instructions. Fabric conditioner is released for the rinse stage. Keep the liquid separate from the detergent addition and do not assume that cap lines or quantities from a larger Downy bottle apply to this small bottle.
Check exclusions before washing a mixed load
Liquid fabric softener can increase fabric flammability, and using more than recommended can increase that effect. The label excludes children’s sleepwear, garments marked flame resistant, and fluffier fabrics such as fleece, velour, chenille and terry cloth. Check each garment’s care label before deciding to use conditioner in a mixed load. Follow the stated measure rather than adding extra for stronger scent. Keep the bottle closed between uses and store it at room temperature as the label directs.

Questions about this product
What quantity comes in this choice?
You receive one bottle containing 10 US fluid ounces of Downy April Fresh liquid fabric conditioner. It is a small bottle with its own cap measurement lines. The package’s 12-load count is for medium loads at the specified medium-load measure.
Will the bottle always cover twelve washes?
The stated yield is 12 medium loads. Larger loads use the higher cap line and therefore use the contents more quickly. Choose the measure for the load you are actually washing instead of treating twelve as an unconditional number of washes.
Which cap line should I use?
Shake the bottle, then use the bottom line for medium loads or the top line for larger loads. Follow the instructions on this bottle. A full cap or a measure copied from a different bottle size may not match its dose guidance.
Where does the liquid go?
Pour the measured conditioner into the fabric softener dispenser. For a center-agitator dispenser, top off with water as directed and follow the washer’s instructions. The softener belongs in the rinse stage, while detergent is added separately for cleaning.
Which items should not receive this conditioner?
The label excludes children’s sleepwear and garments marked flame resistant. It also excludes fluffier fabrics such as fleece, velour, chenille and terry cloth. Check the clothing in the load before adding fabric conditioner, and observe any additional garment care restrictions.
Can I use it in place of detergent?
No. This is fabric conditioner for softness and scent, so use a suitable detergent separately according to its directions. Follow the conditioner’s cap measure and exclusions, and store the closed bottle at room temperature between laundry sessions.

About this product
April Fresh liquid softener, 44 fluid ounces
Downy Liquid Fabric Softener and Conditioner in April Fresh comes in a 44-fluid-ounce jug rated for 60 loads when used as directed. April Fresh is a clean, sweet fragrance for laundry, paired with fabric conditioning for a softer feel. This is liquid fabric softener for the rinse stage, used alongside your usual laundry detergent. Match the April Fresh scent and 44-fluid-ounce size when selecting this jug, and use the measuring directions on the bottle for the load you are washing.
Softness and fabric-care benefits
Along with softness and scent, this Downy formula protects colors, fights stretching, reduces static, helps control fuzz, and reduces wrinkles. These benefits relate to the look and feel of the fabrics as you wash and wear them. Consider the garment’s care label when choosing a softener, especially if fabric conditioning is restricted for that item. The formula includes a conditioning agent, stabilizers, water, fragrances, and colorants, giving you useful ingredient-category details to compare alongside the April Fresh fragrance.
Freshness with the April Fresh scent
Downy describes April Fresh as clean and sweet, with lasting scent from storage until wear and throughout the day. Its freshness comparison is against the leading liquid detergent alone. That reference identifies the comparison between detergent by itself and a routine that also adds this fabric softener. Choose the named April Fresh scent according to your fragrance preference. The liquid format adds that fragrance during rinsing, making the product’s use stage another selection detail alongside its softening and fabric-care functions.
Adding it during the rinse phase
Use the designated fabric-softener dispenser or drawer and follow your washing machine’s instructions for the rinse cycle. Downy is compatible with standard and high-efficiency machines. On a machine with an agitator-mounted softener cup, use that designated cup as instructed by the machine. The product directions also describe adding softener directly to rinse water where appropriate. Measure with the bottle’s cap according to the load size and desired softness rather than using the package’s sixty-load rating as a measuring instruction.
Checking fabrics and the load rating
Downy advises avoiding fabric softener on children’s sleepwear labeled flame-resistant. For fluffy fabrics such as fleece, velour, chenille, or microfiber, follow the garment label and avoid softener unless that label permits it. These restrictions belong alongside the softening benefits when planning a load. The sixty-load package rating depends on using the directed amount; using more liquid changes the number of washes supplied. Compare the 44-fluid-ounce volume, load basis, scent, and fabric-care preferences together when choosing a restock size.

About this product
Two April Fresh bottles with 120 medium loads combined
This Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Softener and Conditioner offer contains two forty-four-fluid-ounce bottles. Each bottle is rated for sixty medium loads at the directed dose, giving eighty-eight fluid ounces and 120 medium loads across the pack. Choose this liquid conditioner for suitable washable clothing and household textiles when you want added softness and a sweet, floral, clean fragrance after laundering with your usual detergent.
Seven fabric-care benefits in a liquid conditioner
Downy April Fresh softens laundry, adds lasting freshness, helps protect colors and fight stretching, reduces static and fuzz, and helps reduce wrinkles. These fabric-care benefits complement washing with detergent. Check the care instructions for each item before adding liquid conditioner, especially when a load includes specialized clothing. The formula contains fragrance and fragrance allergens, so review the ingredients if choosing around particular components.
Use the matching cap’s marks for the load size
Measure to the medium-load mark for a medium load and use the HE-large-load mark for a larger HE load. The bottle allows up to a full cap for extra softness and freshness according to its guide. The sixty-load estimate for each bottle uses medium dosing, so higher amounts reduce the total washes. Keep each bottle’s matching cap available rather than transferring a dose from another conditioner.
Follow your washer’s fabric-softener dispensing instructions
Add your usual laundry detergent separately, then pour measured Downy into the designated softener dispenser, a suitable Downy ball or directly into rinse water as the machine permits. It is compatible with standard and HE washers, including top- and front-loading models. Refer to the washer manual for the dispenser location and recommended rinse settings, and select a cycle suitable for the garments in the load.
Softening agent, stabilizers and a fragranced finish
The formula contains diethylester dimethyl ammonium chloride as its softening agent, along with stabilizers, calcium chloride as a thickness regulator, formic acid as a pH adjuster, colorants, fragrance and water. Its April Fresh scent combines sweet, floral and clean notes. Review the current bottle’s complete ingredient information for specific components, and retain the original container so its directions remain available throughout use.
Respect the restrictions on fluffy and flame-resistant fabrics
Liquid fabric softener can increase fabric flammability, and using more than recommended can increase that effect. Do not use it on fluffier fabrics such as fleece, velour, chenille or terry cloth, or on children’s sleepwear or garments labeled flame resistant. Follow the full bottle restrictions and garment care labels. Close the bottles after measuring and keep the pack securely stored with its precautions available.

Questions about this product
Does the pack include two forty-four-ounce bottles or forty-four ounces total?
It includes two bottles of forty-four fluid ounces each, for eighty-eight fluid ounces total. Each bottle is rated for sixty medium loads at the directed amount, or 120 medium loads across the pack. Higher doses for larger loads or extra softness and freshness reduce the total washes. Keep the matching cap with each bottle so the amount follows the current instructions.
Where should I add April Fresh liquid fabric softener?
Use the designated fabric-softener dispenser, a suitable Downy ball or the rinse-water method allowed by your machine. Add your usual detergent separately first. Follow the washer guide for its dispenser and rinse settings, and measure Downy using the matching cap’s medium- or HE-large-load mark. It is compatible with standard and high-efficiency washers, including top- and front-loading models.
Can I use Downy April Fresh on flame-resistant garments or fleece?
Do not use this liquid softener on flame-resistant clothing, children’s sleepwear, fleece, velour, chenille or terry cloth. It can affect fabric flammability or flame resistance, and excess dosing can increase that effect. For suitable washable items, follow garment care and the complete bottle directions. April Fresh contains a sweet, floral, clean fragrance, colorants and fragrance allergens; consult the full ingredients if needed.

About this product
A 140 fl oz April Fresh dispensing jug
This Downy liquid fabric softener and conditioner comes as one 140 fl oz jug in April Fresh. The photographed jug has a dispensing valve and measuring cap, and identifies the 190-load package reference. It is a rinse-stage fabric softener used in addition to laundry detergent. Match April Fresh, the liquid conditioner format and the 140 fl oz volume when replacing it. Dryer sheets and other Downy products shown in laundry-routine illustrations are separate supplies, rather than additional products included with the jug.
Use the valve and the correct cap level
The label directs placing the package on its side with the valve down, twisting the cap for quicker flow and pressing the red button to dispense. Measure medium loads just above bar 1, identified as 21.9 mL. For HE large loads, use bar 3; the label also allows up to a full cap for extra softness and freshness. Pour into the designated fabric-softener dispenser, a suitable Downy Ball or directly into the rinse water, following the bottle and machine instructions. Use fabric softener in addition to the usual detergent, not as its replacement.
Check fabric care and keep dosing consistent
The label warns that liquid fabric softener can increase fabric flammability and that using more than recommended can increase that effect. Do not use it on fluffier fabrics such as fleece, velour, chenille or terry cloth, or on children’s sleepwear or garments labeled flame-resistant. Check garment care labels before the wash. The 190-load reference should be considered alongside the measured dose: larger cap amounts use the liquid faster. April Fresh is scented, and the label identifies fragrance allergens. Retain the original jug and complete handling information.

Questions about this product
What is included with the 140 fl oz offer?
One dispensing jug contains 140 fl oz of Downy liquid fabric softener and conditioner in April Fresh. It includes the jug’s measuring cap and dispensing valve format. Separate detergent, dryer sheets and other laundry products shown in coordinated-routine illustrations are not included.
How do I dispense from this jug?
Place it on its side with the valve down, twist the cap for quicker flow and press the red dispensing button, as shown on the label. Use the cap to measure the load amount. Keep the jug’s original directions available rather than assuming it pours like a smaller bottle.
Which measuring levels apply?
For medium loads, measure just above bar 1, identified as 21.9 mL. For HE large loads, the label specifies bar 3. It also allows up to a full cap for extra softness and freshness. Follow the marks on this cap and the complete bottle directions.
Where should the measured softener go?
The label identifies the fabric-softener dispenser, a suitable Downy Ball or direct addition to rinse water. Follow your machine’s manual for the dispenser and rinse settings. This is fabric softener used alongside detergent; it is not the detergent dose for the main washing stage.
Does 190 loads apply regardless of how much I use?
Consider the package reference together with the measured amount. The label distinguishes medium loads just above bar 1 from HE large loads at bar 3 and larger amounts for extra softness and freshness. Using more liquid per wash reduces the number of washes obtained from the jug.
Which fabrics should I exclude?
The label says not to use it on fleece, velour, chenille, terry cloth, children’s sleepwear or garments labeled flame-resistant. It warns that softener can increase fabric flammability, especially when more than recommended is used. Follow garment care labels and retain the jug’s complete precautions.

About this product
Two dispensing jugs of April Fresh liquid softener
Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Softener comes as two 140-fluid-ounce dispensing jugs, each approximately 4.14 liters. Each is rated for 190 medium loads at the directed amount, giving 280 fluid ounces and 380 medium-load doses across the pack. Choose this scented conditioner for suitable washable laundry when you want fabric softness and lasting freshness alongside washing with your regular detergent.
Sweet, floral and clean fragrance with fabric-care benefits
April Fresh has a sweet, floral and clean scent character. The conditioner softens fabrics and adds freshness while helping protect colors, fight stretching, reduce static, limit fuzz and reduce wrinkles. Review garment care when choosing items to condition. The formula contains colorants, fragrance and fragrance allergens, so check the complete current ingredient statement for any particular components you avoid in laundry products.
Use the jug’s valve and vent to fill the matching cap
Place the package on its side with the dispensing valve down. Twist the vent cap for quicker flow, then press the red button to dispense the conditioner into the matching measuring cap. Check the cap guide before adding it to the wash. Keep the jug’s closure and full handling instructions available, and follow the current package directions whenever preparing the dispenser for use.
Measure just above bar one for medium loads
The directed medium-load dose is just above bar one, approximately 21.9 milliliters. For an HE large load, use bar three. Up to a full cap can be used for extra softness and freshness as directed. Higher amounts reduce the washes available from each jug compared with the 190-medium-load estimate. Use the matching cap rather than a cap from a different bottle size.
Add conditioner through the appropriate rinse-stage dispenser
Use your regular detergent separately. Pour the measured softener into the designated fabric-softener dispenser, a suitable Downy ball or rinse water according to the washer and bottle instructions. It works in standard and HE machines, including top- and front-loading models. Follow the washer guide for its dispenser location and rinse settings and choose the cycle and temperature according to garment care.
Observe fabric restrictions and retain the original containers
Liquid softener can increase fabric flammability, particularly when excessive amounts are used. Do not use on fleece, velour, chenille, terry cloth, children’s sleepwear or flame-resistant garments. Follow the complete current precautions and store the original jugs securely with their closures in place. The bottles contain twenty-five percent or more post-consumer recycled plastic; follow local recycling instructions when each container is empty.

Questions about this product
Does the two-pack contain 140 fluid ounces or 280 in total?
Each jug contains 140 fluid ounces, giving 280 fluid ounces across the two-pack. Each is rated for 190 medium loads, or 380 medium-load doses total at the directed amount. The medium dose is just above bar one on the matching cap, approximately 21.9 milliliters. Higher HE-large-load or extra-softness doses reduce the total washes available from the pack.
How do I dispense from the large jug and measure an HE load?
Place the jug on its side with its valve down, twist the vent cap for quicker flow and press the red button to dispense into the matching cap. Use bar three for an HE large load, or the directed medium mark just above bar one when appropriate. Pour the measured softener into the dispensing method permitted by your machine and follow the full current directions.
What does April Fresh smell like, and which fabrics should I avoid?
April Fresh has a sweet, floral and clean fragrance character and adds softness and freshness to suitable washable laundry. It contains fragrance, fragrance allergens and colorants. Do not use on fleece, velour, chenille, terry cloth, children’s sleepwear or flame-resistant garments because softener can affect flammability or flame resistance. Follow garment care, measure the directed amount and use regular detergent separately.
