Do I remove or puncture the film?
Leave the tab intact and do not attempt to unwrap, pierce or pull it apart. The film responds to water during washing. Dry hands and a dry detergent cup help keep the film from being exposed to moisture before the wash cycle uses the detergent.
Must I rinse all food off before loading?
Scrape away larger food scraps before loading dishwasher-safe items. Quantum is designed for use without a separate pre-rinse. Can it be used with true silver cutlery?
Finish does not recommend Quantum for true silver cutlery. Check the material and care instructions for utensils, dishes and cookware before loading them. Keep unsuitable items out of the dishwasher load even if other pieces in the same meal service are dishwasher safe.
How should I protect the unused tabs?
Reseal the package after taking out a tab, store it away from heat and moisture and keep it out of children’s reach. Handle the contents with dry hands. Retain the original package directions so the placement and dishware restrictions remain available when preparing later loads.
