About this product
Forty gallon-size press-to-close storage bags
Hefty Press to Close Gallon Storage Bags provide forty clear bags for suitable food portions and household organization. Each has a nominal one-gallon capacity and measures ten and a half inches across, two and seven-eighths inches at the expandable bottom, and nine and three-sixteenths inches high. Compare those dimensions with your intended contents, leaving enough space near the opening to close the full double zipper.
Stand & Fill bottom for loading
The Stand & Fill expandable bottom helps position the bag on a stable surface while you add contents. Support it as needed during filling, keeping food or other items clear of the zipper track. The expanded base provides space at the bottom for the portion. Choose contents that fit without crowding the top so the opening remains clear when it is time to close the bag.
Double zipper and easy-grip opening
The press-to-close double zipper snaps together along the opening, and the easy-grip area helps with handling the top. Press across the full closure after filling and check it before moving the bag. Clear walls show the contents, while the white write-on block gives you a place to identify similar-looking food portions or groups of household supplies before putting them away.
Food storage and household organization
Use the gallon format for suitable leftovers, produce, baked goods or snacks in appropriate room-temperature or refrigerator storage. The bags can also group craft supplies, toiletries, charging accessories or other small household items. Keep non-food uses separate from bags reserved for food. Identify the contents on the write-on block, and compare the filled bag with the shelf, drawer or travel space you intend to use.
Material and local disposal rules
These clear polyethylene bags are BPA-free and are not compostable. Check local acceptance rules for clean, dry plastic film before recycling used bags. The cardboard box is separate recyclable packaging, and it is not compostable. Follow local collection requirements for the box rather than combining it with used film. Keep the remaining unused bags together until you need another bag for food preparation or organization.

About this product
Twenty gallon-size storage bags
Hefty Press to Close Gallon Storage Bags provide twenty clear bags for larger food portions, bulk snacks and household organization. Each has a nominal one-gallon capacity and measures ten and a half inches across, two and seven-eighths inches at the expandable bottom, and nine and three-sixteenths inches high. Compare those measurements with your planned contents and storage space, leaving room near the opening to engage the zipper.
Expandable bottom for loading
The Stand & Fill base opens out to help position the bag on a stable surface while adding food or other contents. Support the bag as needed, particularly when filling it with loose snacks or an unevenly shaped item. The extra space at the base accommodates bulkier contents within the bag’s dimensions. Keep the opening clear as you fill so the food does not obstruct the zipper track.
A double zipper and easy-grip area
The press-to-close double zipper snaps together along the top, and an easy-grip area helps with handling the opening. Press the closure together across its full length after filling and check it before moving the bag. Clear walls let you see which portion is inside without reopening it. The white write-on block gives you a place to identify the contents before storing or distributing the filled bag.
Food portions and household uses
Use the gallon storage format for suitable quantities of fresh produce, baked goods, snacks or leftovers. The size also suits packing larger snack supplies for a picnic or road trip. Beyond the kitchen, the bags can group craft supplies, small toys, travel toiletries, clothes or charging accessories. Keep bags used for those items separate from food-storage supplies, and use the label area to identify their contents before putting them away.
Material and separate packaging disposal
The bags are made from clear polyethylene and are BPA-free. They are not compostable. Clean, dry plastic film may be accepted by local collection programs, so check the program’s rules before recycling a used bag. Handle the recyclable cardboard box separately according to local collection requirements. Keep the unused bags together in the box, apart from bags that have already been used.
