About this product

Lysol Oxi Action bleach-free clinging toilet-bowl gel - Ocean Fresh. This option contains 2 bottles × 24 fl oz · 48 fl oz total.

Two bottles of Ocean Fresh OXI Action gel

Lysol supplies one two-bottle pack for cleaning a toilet bowl with a clinging, bleach-free hydrogen-peroxide gel applied under the rim. The selected two-bottle OXI Action pack has an Ocean Fresh scent. UPC 019200888301 identifies the offer, with twenty-four fluid ounces in each bottle and forty-eight fluid ounces total. The angled-neck format helps direct cleaner toward the upper interior and under-rim area.

Open the cap and apply the measured amount

Squeeze the cap’s side grips and turn counterclockwise without removing the cap, apply at least four fluid ounces under the rim and around the bowl, scrub thoroughly and flush. Hold the bottle firmly on a flat surface when opening it. Include the under-rim area while brushing and retain the complete bottle directions. For tough stains, allow the product to sit for several minutes before scrubbing and flushing.

Keep the separate directions to sanitize together

The selected formula’s process to sanitize applies above the waterline on hard, nonporous toilet-bowl surfaces. Pre-clean heavily soiled areas, apply at least four fluid ounces to coat the bowl and under the rim, scrub thoroughly and let stand for five minutes before flushing. Keep the full application, preparation, location and wait requirements together when using that process, rather than applying a timing from another Lysol formula.

Keep bleach and other chemicals out of the process

Never use with chlorine bleach or any other chemical cleaner; avoid eye contact, wash hands after use and keep securely closed in the original container away from children. Hydrogen peroxide supplies the selected formula’s bleach-free cleaning role, while the gel format coats the bowl during the directed task. Keep its toilet-bowl purpose with the product rather than using a bowl-cleaner routine on other household surfaces.

Retain the eye and storage precautions

The product may irritate eyes. If it reaches the eyes, rinse cautiously with water, remove contact lenses if present and easy to remove, and continue rinsing; get medical attention if irritation persists. Keep the original bottle and full consumer label for treatment advice. Store it securely closed in a cool, well-ventilated area inaccessible to children, retaining the chemical-mixing restrictions with any unused supply.

Questions about this product

Does forty-eight fluid ounces mean one oversized bottle?

The pack contains two twenty-four-fluid-ounce bottles, totaling forty-eight fluid ounces. Keep that two-bottle format with the Ocean Fresh OXI Action identity when comparing single bottles and larger cases. Each bottle uses the directed cap-opening, under-rim application, brushing and flushing process.

Is the cap removed completely to dispense the gel?

The directions say not to remove it. Hold the bottle firmly on a flat surface, squeeze the marked side grips and turn the cap counterclockwise. Apply at least four fluid ounces under the rim and around the bowl, then follow the complete cleaning directions and securely close the bottle afterward.

Does the process to sanitize use the same immediate-flush routine as cleaning?

The separate directions to sanitize require pre-cleaning heavily soiled surfaces, coating with at least four fluid ounces, thorough brushing and a five-minute wait before flushing. That process is for the hard, nonporous bowl area above the waterline. Retain all the complete label’s preparation and application requirements together.

Can bleach be added because this formula contains none?

Never use the product with chlorine bleach or any other chemical cleaner. Keep the original container securely closed, avoid eye contact and wash hands after use. Observe the complete consumer-label precautions, retaining the toilet-bowl application and storage requirements with the selected peroxide-gel formula.

Blue gel cleaner

My favorite. It's a gel that sticks to the sides of the bowl, with bleach to sanitize. When I'm done, I squirt in just a little so it looks and smells fresh for the next person.

This was messy to use. It kept oozing and leaking out around the base of the cap but wouldn't come out of the tip. Eventually I tried squeezing the tip off, thinking maybe you're meant to remove it, but it wouldn't come off. When I squeezed it after that, it worked. Maybe I accidentally poked a hole in the tip? So maybe you have to do that to make it work, I don't know. The scent was strange too. It smelled like cola to me, yes, the drink 😄, which made me worry it would attract ants. Overall, I'm not impressed. It's disappointing, because the nozzle design is really convenient, but there's not much else good about it. 🤷🏽‍♀️

No bleach! It cleans thoroughly without harsh bleach wearing down the toilet's finish.

I like it and it works well, but the generic brands do too. I clean for a living, and I'll grab the generic first unless this is on a special deal.

Squeeze the liquid under the rim of the bowl and it runs down the sides, carrying all the gunk with it. Swirl it around with the brush and flush. Voila, a clean toilet!

The gel disinfects and cleans like it should, and it's easy to use with a fresh, clean scent. The smell wasn't very strong, but it cleaned the toilet.

Nice and thick, so it stays where I put it in the bowl. It smells good too.

Lysol means consistent quality! It clings and it's powerful.

The cleaner didn't seem to do anything. Plain water seemed to work just as well. I ended up using a pumice stone instead.

I love this. It's perfect for my septic tank, because I don't have to worry about chemicals hurting the microorganisms doing their job. It smells nice too. I use it to clean most things where the water goes down the drain.

I've used Lysol toilet bowl cleaner with bleach for years. I'm very happy with it, but I hate bleach. I hate the smell and the damage it can do. So I recently decided to try the hydrogen peroxide version. It's OK. It's nowhere near as powerful as the bleach one. It takes a bit more scrubbing to get off lime and scale, but it does work. On a very good note, it has almost no smell at all, so my nose is happy, and I'm not worried about a little splash back while squirting the cleaner or scrubbing the bowl. P.S. The earlier reviews are right that the cap is a problem. It's very finicky. It can be hard to open, or it leaks when it's open and in use.
