How much is in the tub?

What does it do that regular detergent does not?
It targets odor trapped in fabric rather than visible staining. Sweat, mildew, pet accidents, and gym clothing that smells clean when dry and sour once warm are the cases it is bought for. It is a booster used alongside detergent, not a replacement for it.
How do I use it in a load?
Add a scoop to the drum with the detergent. For set-in odor, dissolve a scoop in warm water and soak the item first, then wash as normal. Soaking is what makes the difference on anything that has been washed several times and still smells.
Can I use it on carpet and upholstery?
Yes, both are rated surfaces. Dissolve it in warm water, test on a hidden area first, apply, and blot rather than rub. Do not saturate a carpet, because what soaks into the underlay is what causes a smell to come back.
Is it color safe?
It is an oxygen based formula rather than chlorine bleach, so it is far gentler on color than bleach. Test on anything dark or delicate before committing, and keep it off wool, silk, and leather.
Does it contain bleach?
Not chlorine bleach. It works through oxygen release in water, which is why it needs warm water to activate properly and does very little in cold.
What safety precautions apply?
Keep it out of reach of children. It is injurious to eyes and harmful if swallowed, so avoid contact with eyes and wash hands after handling. Store it sealed and dry, because a powder that has absorbed moisture clumps and loses potency.
Is it scented?
Yes, a fresh scent. It is a laundry booster rather than a fabric softener, so the scent rinses out with the wash rather than being left on the fibers.
Will it work in cold water?
Poorly. The oxygen release that does the work is temperature dependent. Warm or hot water is what activates it, and that is the single most common reason people report no effect.
