Directions
Start by measuring your laundry load size - Small, Medium, or Large. For optimal results, use 1 Pod for Small/Medium loads and 2 Pods for Large or heavily soiled loads. Next, add your laundry. How many pacs are in the tub?

How many pacs should I use?
Measure your load size first. Use 1 pod for small and medium loads, and 2 pods for large or heavily soiled loads. Underdosing a large load is the most common reason a pac appears not to work.
What makes it a Power POD?
It is the Tide Power Pods line, which packs more cleaning actives into the pac than the standard version. This one carries the Oxi Boost, an oxygen based stain component in the same pac as the detergent.
What is it aimed at?
Set-in stains. It carries a stain removing feature and the Oxi component is what handles marks that a plain detergent leaves behind.
How do I use it?
Put the pac in the empty drum first, then add the laundry on top. Choose your cycle and temperature, close the door, and start. Never put a pac in the dispenser drawer.
Why does the pac go in before the clothes?
Because water reaches the bottom of the drum first. A pac sitting on top of a packed load dissolves late, which is what leaves residue or undissolved film.
What does it smell like?
The Oxi Boost scent, in the fresh scent family.
Are they safe around children?
Keep the pacs away from children and pets, which the label states directly. A pac looks like candy to a small child, so storage height matters more than it does with a bottle.
How should I store them?
In a cool, dry place with the lid closed. Humidity is what welds pacs together in the tub.
Do they work in a high efficiency machine?
Yes, in both HE and standard machines. In an HE drum the placement matters more, because there is less water to move the pac around.
Why do I get spots on dark clothes?
Spots come up in the negative reviews and are almost always an undissolved pac in a cold, overloaded wash. Pac at the bottom, fewer garments, and the problem usually goes away.
