About this product
Five powder pouches for cleaning the washer
Tide Washing Machine Cleaner with Oxi is a fresh-scented powder for removing odor-causing residue inside a washing machine. This pack contains five individual pouches, each holding 75 grams, labeled 2.6 ounces. The box holds 375 grams in total, labeled 13.2 ounces. Each pouch provides one washer-cleaning treatment when used according to the package instructions.
Address residue in front-load or top-load machines
The cleaner is intended for front-loading and top-loading washers, including high-efficiency and standard machines. Its cleaning action targets deposits and residue that can contribute to washer odors, including buildup in areas beyond the visible drum. Choose it for a machine-cleaning task between clothing loads. Check the washer's care instructions alongside the product directions before starting the treatment.
Empty the washer and add one pouch to the drum
Remove clothing and other items before beginning. Pour the contents of one pouch directly into the empty washer tub or drum, whether the machine loads from the front or top. Leave laundry detergent out of this cleaning treatment. This product cleans the machine itself; it is not laundry detergent and should not be used to wash clothes.
Select a normal hot-water cycle
Run the empty washer on its normal cycle with the hot-water setting selected. Follow the pouch and machine instructions when choosing the settings. The specified routine uses a normal hot wash rather than a clothing load or a cold-water treatment. Allow the selected cycle to complete before returning the washer to its usual laundry routine.
Oxi, TAED and zeolite support residue cleaning
The powder formula combines Oxi cleaning action with TAED and zeolite. These ingredients support cleaning in hard-water conditions as well as removal of odor-causing deposits. The cleaner leaves a fresh scent after the machine-cleaning cycle. Choose this fresh-scented version when planning your washer maintenance; it contains fragrance and is intended for cleaning the appliance between laundry loads.
Plan monthly maintenance from the five-pouch box
For routine maintenance, use one pouch once a month according to the directions. At that schedule, five pouches provide five monthly treatments. Keep the unused pouches in their original packaging so the product identity and instructions remain available. The package cautions that the cleaner is an eye irritant and may be harmful if swallowed; read and follow all package precautions.

Questions about this product
Where do I put the cleaner in a front-loading washer?
Pour one pouch directly into the empty drum, following the current package instructions. Remove all clothes and leave detergent out, then select a normal hot-water cycle. The direct-to-drum method also applies to top-loading machines. Review the washer's care instructions before starting so the machine settings and product directions are followed together.
Does the five-count pack provide five clothing washes?
It provides five washer-cleaning treatments. The powder is for cleaning the empty appliance and removing odor-causing residue, so clothing and detergent should be left out during treatment. At the recommended monthly maintenance schedule, the five separate pouches provide five months of routine cleaning. Use one pouch for each treatment as directed.
Can this version be used with hard water or an HE washer?
Yes. The Oxi, TAED and zeolite formula is intended to work in hard-water conditions, and the cleaner is suitable for front-load or top-load, HE or standard washing machines. Use the specified empty-drum, normal hot-water routine and follow both package and machine care instructions. This version has a fresh scent.

About this product
Four powder pouches for washing-machine maintenance
Tide Washing Machine Cleaner with Oxi Powder comes in one box containing four individual pouches. Each pouch contains 75 grams, with a total net weight of 300 grams, labeled 10.5 ounces. This product treats the washing machine itself to help remove odor-causing residue and deposits. Plan a separate cleaning cycle with an empty machine when using a pouch.
For front-load, top-load, HE and standard washers
The powder is intended for front-load and top-load washing machines, including HE and non-HE models. Follow the machine's operating guidance when choosing the hot-water normal cycle for treatment. Remove clothing and other items before starting. The cleaner belongs in a washer-maintenance routine, with the machine empty and ready to complete the full selected cleaning cycle.
Pour one pouch directly into the empty drum
Begin with no clothes and no laundry detergent in the washer. Open one pouch and pour its contents directly into the drum or tub, then select a normal cycle with hot water. This directed drum placement applies to front-load and top-load machines. Keep the current package available to check the amount, cycle choice and full instructions before running the treatment.
Use one pouch monthly for routine maintenance
The maintenance recommendation is one pouch per month. At that schedule, the four-pouch box supplies four monthly cleaning treatments. Keep the unopened pouches for later maintenance and use the complete directed pouch for each treatment. Check your machine's care instructions alongside the package, including any guidance about maintaining the door, seal and other accessible washer areas between cleanings.
Oxi powder with TAED and zeolite
The formula includes sodium carbonate peroxide, TAED, sodium carbonate and zeolite among its ingredients. It is designed to help address residue and odors inside the washing machine, including when hard water is present. Review the complete ingredient statement when comparing washer-cleaning products. Follow the directed hot-water cycle and empty-machine method rather than adding this powder to a clothing wash.
A fragranced washer-cleaning formula
The powder includes fragrance, and the ingredient statement identifies fragrance allergens. Choose it with that information in mind when selecting a washer-maintenance product. The cleaner is intended to address accumulated residue that can contribute to washer odors. Use the scheduled treatment with routine machine care, following both the appliance instructions and the current cleaner package.
Retain the package precautions with the remaining pouches
The product is an eye irritant and may be harmful if swallowed. Handle the powder according to the full package precautions, avoiding eye contact and ingestion. Keep the box and its instructions with the unused pouches so the treatment method and caution statements remain available. Recheck them before the next monthly cleaning or when using the cleaner in another machine.
