Amdro Fire Ant Bait is a 2 lb jug of powder-form granules formulated for individual mound treatment or broadcast use on lawns. Apply a ring of bait around active mounds so worker ants carry it to the queen; label text describes using 2 to 5 tablespoons per mound and notes results within two weeks.
Made for outdoor use against fire ants and other ants, the product lists hydramethylnon as the active ingredient and includes instructions for mound application and repeat treatments as needed.

Directions
:Sprinkle 2 to 5 level tablespoons of this product around the mound. Do not disturb the mound. Use a disposable scoop (do not use a kitchen utensil). For best results, apply AMDRO® Fire Ant Bait when ants are active. Repeat application as needed. Do not apply to soaked ground or if rain is expected in the next 24 hours.
