I fill a small jar or empty water bottle with the yellow bait pellets then I keep a bottle in every car and house where I want to keep the fire ant problem down to a minimum. Amdro bait works incredibly well. I sprinkle a small around each ant bed. About a week later they're all gone. Remember this is Ant not POISON. i've been using this stuff for over 20 years. It works great.

I know it says not to disturb the mound but I get a thumb sized stick and press deep holes in and around mound and fill them up with amdro. Then sprinkle it on and around mound. Works great. On really big mounds I may have to reapply but seldom to never.

Really works! I buy this product and recommend to all!

I first bought this in 2021! Used around my moms house she had red ants all around! This year no red ants they are slowly getting close to her house again going have to treat again! I moved to a property next door to her and the red ants where horrible around especially around my pool area really bad! So, last month June I treaded my whole yard and now around 30 days later, Amdro Fire Ant Killer won the war! Only have a couple of stragglers soon I believe they will be gone too! Just treat your yard every year with this guarantee you will not have a red ant problem anymore! I can see that after treating my moms last year! If I'm able to post pictures on this rating you will see the piles of dead red ants from using Amdro Fire Ant Killer! Just follow the instructions and you will be all set!

Best ant killer you can buy.

For those of you who have a fire ant, or other ants listed, problem buy yourself some Amdro and get rid of the whole colony. I've been using Amdro for at least 30 years now and my dad was using it before that. I've never used a different brand because Amdro works, here in the desert and in the mountains, from 2000' elevation to 6000' elevation I've used it. The worker ants carry the poison into the mound and down the hole where every ant in the colony, including the queen, feasts and dies. It only takes 3 or 4 teaspoons per mound and so a little bit goes a long way. I bought a pound of Amdro 3 or 4 years ago and I was down to just a few ounces so I was glad to have some more and if there's a shelf life on the poison the ants don't know it and they still eat it and die.

Amdro Ant Killer

I moved into my home 3.5 years ago and have had
issues with Fire Ants from the very beginning. The Fire
Ants are especially bad around the flower beds and
concrete wall fence area. I have tried many brands of
ant poison to no avail. Then I discovered Amdro. The
Amdro Yard Treatment Fire Ant Bait works extremely
well. I spread a small amount of Amdro around all of
the ant beds and in less than a minute I had dead ants.
The Fire Ants that got a bite of Amdro took it back to
the Queen, who died. With the Queen dead, no
additional ants are produced. It's been approximately
one month and I have not seen a single ant in the yard.

If you follow the easy directions, apply in early morning
or afternoon, you will have the same awesome results
that I did!

The 5 pound bag of Amdro covers up to 10,000 square
feet. 1 treatment lasts all season long! Now I have no
need to put ant poison down every week of the Summer
Season!
