How do I use it?
Pour a layer over the litter each time after the cat uses the box. It is a top-dressing rather than something mixed through the litter at the start, and using it after each use is what keeps it working between full changes.
How does it actually control odor?
Moisture-activated micro-granules. They stay inert in dry litter and release when they contact moisture, which is the moment odor is produced. That is why it works on use rather than on a schedule.
Does it replace changing the litter?
No. It extends the usable life of a litter change rather than substituting for one. A box that already smells before the deodorizer goes in needs emptying.
Can I use it with any litter?
Yes, clumping or non-clumping, clay or plant based. It is a powder that sits on top, so it does not interfere with clumping action underneath.
Is it safe for cats?
