Easy to set up. It arrived ready to use. Instructions state to let it sit in the sun for two days before turning on. You do not have to force it into the ground to use.

Good results

Definitely decreases mole activity. It takes some weeks. They have not been completely driven away but happy with results. Hardest part is getting the insertion hole made. Have dense clay soil. Works much better when almost all of it is in the ground. Take care not to mow their heads off. I got this to replace a Victor brand that was killed by mower and it has a distinctly different sound and sequence. I have a Victor still working and hope I will see better results with the two different pulses going.

We found dig holes in our backyard. We never saw what critter or critters were doing the digging. Before trying anything harmful, we gave this a try. The light and sound are annoying outside. It must have annoyed the critters too because there have been no new holes.

No moles

We have 4 acres and have had moles forever. I put this one MoleMax solar spike off the back porch. It makes a beeping noise every 20 seconds or so. We have not seen any moles in the immediate area. Seems to be working. I would definitely recommend giving this a try.
