great starter kit for veggies

Read this if you're an idiot..

So I'm new to all aspects gardening. I read the instructions, scanned the thingy to watch the video, and started pouring the water. A bunch of the little soil disks had flipped around in cells but I didn't think it would make a difference. Once you pour the water in the soil turns to mush right? Absolutely not. They expanded horizontally and were jammed into the bottom of each cell so tight that I had to pick away at them with a small sharp knife. It took well over an hour and I got dirt everywhere. So yea…please make sure that the soil disks are upright in each cell. While this might seem like common sense to most people I'm sure enthusiastic gardeners with ADD/ADHD will save themselves a lot of grief lol.
BUT…once it was all sorted out it worked great. Many of my seeds germinated over night. I planted zinnias, asters, marigolds, baby blue eucalyptus, and some dahlias and they are all doing great.
