Best and Less Expensive

Cascade Powder not only gets the grease and residue off the plates and silverware, it also leaves the glassware with few water spots. Smells great when the dishwasher is running and using powder instead of "Pods" proves to control cost as you control how much detergent to use.

Classic clean

I have slowly transitioned back to this old school classic dishwasher soap. The same soap my mom used growing up. The pods sometimes don't dissolve, the liquid comes in a huge plastic bottle…this works every time, doesn't have plastic and the box seems to last forever in comparison to the other options.

I bought Cascade Complete Dishwasher Detergent Powder because one of my sisters adds it to her dishpan. Mixed in with liquid dish soap & hot water. She told me it makes her drinking glasses clean without leaving any spots. So I tried it out for myself. I was so impressed. I have a lot of different drinking glasses. I'm happy to have it.

Switching to Cascade powder paired with a rinse aid is an excellent, budget-friendly choice that gives me complete dosing control, prevents cloudy film on my glasses, and dissolves perfectly during shorter cycles.

Clear winner

Used to favor Electrasol (low Nitrogen formulation for the environmentalist in me), but no longer available. So swapped to Cascade. I favor pourable powder, as I can control how much I'm using, and can also use it to soak items with crusted-on food , in the sink. I detest pods.
Thank you for making this so well. Dishes are clean, spot free, and without a haze.
