Ease of Use and Clean Laundry

Society to use!! I used to get the liquid but my measuring was pitiful. Went through the bottle way too fast!! This is pre measured and in a regular load you only need 1!!! My clothes look brighter and cleaner. Towels get rid of the musty smell and my whites don't look dinghy. Laundry is always tedious to me but when the stuff still looks good or in some cases better it's not so bad.

your clothes will beam!

wow! it revived colors in clothing turned dingy long ago! it is a fantastic product, so easy to use. only drawback was i had to have it shipped, rather than getting same day from store. it only took a day to arrive, so even that was not a problem. love this!

Stains Are Never an Issue in This House

I have been using this forever. The liquid is too diluted. My roommate has Parkinsons and whatever he tries to eat with or out without utensils even with the table and plate up against his body, ends up dropping things down the front of his shirts and upper part of his pants.

I pretreat any stains for several days with Oxi Max Force pretreatment, then I add Clorox Pods to my laundry detergent. I do these loads at night before bedtime. I load my Clorox II, pulling the pod apart and sprinkling the powder into the wash water (pods often don't break up fully if not opened and sprinkled), also do add your detergent as normal both at the start of the wash. I recommend Tide pods for a detergent. Then, I agitate the washer for about six (6) minutes then pause it. Most agitating washers today will stay paused for up to 24 hours before dispensing water.

The next morning, I then unpause and start the washer again, running the load to completion. Even if I don't have time to dry it until I get home later that evening from work. My roommate does not have a single item that is stained over more than a decade and clothes are expensive. I deal often with bodily fluids (bloods from multiple emergency surgeries in the past 3 1/2 years, also from human waste accidents, and of course, many food stains such as ketchup, sauces, grease, etc.)

I do the same thing with sheets and towels when necessary, but if human waste is involved, I also sanitize with Lysol Disinfectant in a second wash (no detergents, etc.). Just wash the first load normally. Then rewash it a second time putting the Lysol Disinfectant in at the start of the wash by itself without any detergent. Most machines agitate at least the time required for full disinfect timing, that way I don't have to wait and time the wash load. Then let the disinfectant load rinse as normal.

Also note, if your sheets and towels aren't as soft as they once were, they are building up body oils in them that your detergent isn't cutting and fully eliminating. I have found adding Clorox II pods to the laundry cycle and also occasionally disinfecting with Lysol Disinfectant following the above method will eventually make bring your towels and sheets come back to a softer state. Some of my friends who have tried this have been amazed after about a half dozen washes as instructed. Even older towels and sheets may not come back to their original softness, but friends have seen a noticeable improvement after trying this method.

Yes, it costs a little more water wise, but luckily not everything in the house needs this type of extra double treatment for every wash.

Does a good job, and I like the concept of using the packs. You get the same strength as the liquids without the bother of measuring, and wrestling with the jugs. But, what I like most is the lessing of environmental impact. The packs are biodegradable, and there is no need to use more petroleum products to make more jugs. Even if you recycle everything you can, it is still better not to produce plastics in the first place. Bravo to Clorox Co.
