How much is in the bottle?
90 fluid ounces of Platinum concentrate.
How is Platinum different from Dawn Ultra?
Platinum is the stronger formulation in the range, aimed at baked-on and dried-on food that Ultra needs soaking for. On everyday washing up the difference is small; on a roasting tin left overnight it is not.
How much should I use?
Less than feels right. It is a concentrate, and the stronger the formula the more true that is. A few drops on a sponge handles a sink of dishes.
Can I use it in a dishwasher?
No. Hand dish soap foams over in an automatic dishwasher and can damage it.
Is it antibacterial?
It carries an antibacterial ingredient property, which describes the soap in use on dishes and hands rather than making it a surface disinfectant.
What does Refreshing Rain smell like?
A fresh-family scent, lighter than the Original Dawn scent. It is a matter of preference rather than performance; the formula is the same either way.
What else can I use it for?
The same jobs as Ultra: greasy pans, range hood filters, pre-treating oily fabric stains. Keep it off seasoned cast iron and waxed paint, where stripping oil is the wrong outcome.
Is Platinum worth the premium over Ultra?
If you regularly deal with baked-on residue, yes. If you wash up promptly after cooking, Ultra does the same job for less.
How should I store it?
