Questions about this product
How much is in the bottle?
30.8 fluid ounces of Ultra concentrate.
Why does this size rate lower than the smaller bottles?
The formula is the same across the Dawn Ultra range. Complaints on the larger bottles cluster on the bottle, cap, and pour rather than the soap itself, which is worth knowing before assuming the product differs by size.
How much should I use?
A few drops on a sponge handles a sink of dishes. It is a concentrate, and overdosing means a longer rinse rather than cleaner dishes.
Can I use it in a dishwasher?
No. Hand dish soap foams over in an automatic dishwasher and can damage it.
Is it antibacterial?
It carries an antibacterial ingredient property. That describes the soap in use on dishes and hands rather than making it a surface disinfectant.
Why is it the one people use on grease?
The Ultra concentrate is formulated to emulsify fats, which is why it turns up on range hood filters, greasy tools, and oily fabric stains as well as dishes.
What else can I use it for?
Pre-treating greasy fabric stains, washing car wheels, cleaning outdoor furniture. Keep it off seasoned cast iron and waxed paint, where stripping oil is the wrong outcome.
What scent is it?
Original, in the fresh family, unchanged across the Ultra range.
How should I store it?
Upright with the cap closed, somewhere that does not freeze.
What is the UPC?
030772164686.
