Questions about this product
How many wipes are in a pack?
240 cloths, split into five resealable packs of 48. Total pack weight is 3.43 lb.
Why is it split into five packs?
So the unopened ones stay sealed. A cloth pack loses moisture from the moment the seal is broken, and 48 at a time is roughly what a bathroom gets through before drying becomes an issue. It also means one pack can travel in a bag while the rest stay at home.
What are they made of?
Water is the primary ingredient, with a fresh scent added. They are hypoallergenic and intended for personal cleansing rather than surface cleaning.
Are they safe to flush?
They are labeled flushable and will clear a healthy toilet. Flushable wipes do not break apart as quickly as toilet paper, so on a septic system, older or narrow pipework, or any line that has clogged before, binning them is the safer choice. Many buyers use them without flushing and get the same benefit.
Why do they tear when I pull one out?
The dispensing slot grips the next sheet, and a fast straight pull separates the cloth mid-tear. Pull slowly and at a slight angle. This is the most common complaint in the reviews and it is largely a dispensing technique issue rather than a material defect.
The tape closure will not stay shut and they dried out. What can I do?
Press the tape down from the center outwards rather than at the edges, which is what makes it hold. Once a pack has been opened several times the adhesive loses grip, so moving the remaining stack into a sealable container or a zip bag is the reliable fix. Reviewers who keep a pack in a car or a handbag almost all end up doing this.
Can I use them on children or for potty training?
Yes, and it is one of the most common uses in the reviews. They are gentler than dry paper and the 48 count packs are a convenient size for a changing bag.
How are these different from baby wipes?
They are thinner and formulated to begin dispersing in water. Baby wipes are thicker, hold more liquid, and should never be flushed. For heavier messes a baby wipe does more work; for personal use with a paper-like feel, this is the closer match.
Can I use them to clean surfaces?
They will pick up light marks, but there is no disinfectant in them. Water is the primary ingredient. For anything hygienic use a disinfecting wipe instead.
