A MUST FOR SEED STARTING

Although I am an avid gardener who's been gardening for about 50 years, this is the first time I tried to start plants and flowers from seeds. With the use of this item, I was successful in raising many flowers and vegetable plants for my garden. Even though I planted the seeds indoors in my Connecticut home in a not so sunny room in Winter, everything grew well when placed on this mat.

Works just as expected

This Ferry-Morse Seed Starting Heat Mat did a fantastic job getting my habanero seeds started. I used peet pellets in a starter tray and followed the Heat Mat directions exactly. The seeds sprouted in all but two pellets. There were a total of 16 pellets with two seed sown in each. Seeds began to sprout in 5 days and in 7 days were over half sprouted. The two pellets that have not sprouted could still sprout. The seedlings are now under a grow lamp within an indoor greenhouse setup and doing great. I am extremely pleased with the results using the Ferry-Morse Seed Starting Heat Mat. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone who needs to quick start seeds.

very easy to use. you just plug it in. it took a while for it to heat. it does not get hot, it just gets warm enough for the seeds to germinate. All of my seeds germinated except for my one pepper, but I sort of expected that since the seeds were about 3 years old.

Good mat

Great May for germinating tomato seeds. Just enough warmth and I didn't worry about it getting too hot. Safe and works well. Tomatoes germinated in 3 days!!!
