Ferry-Morse reusable seed-starting tray holds 18 individual pots sized for larger-rooted seedlings like pumpkins, squash, vegetables, herbs and flowers. The insert is made from recycled plastic and separates into quick-draining cells so you can remove individual seedlings for transplanting.

Tray dimensions and cell details are given for planning space and soil: the insert measures 11" x 20" and contains eighteen 3" wide deep recycled plastic cells. Seeds and seedlings are not included.

Sturdy and Perfect Size!

I love this! So convenient! This kit includes an 11" x 20" tray with 18 pots. Each pot is 3 inches deep and it is also wide. They are durable enough to use for several seasons if taken care of. Great for larger seedlings and allows them enough room to stay indoors longer before transplanting them. Affordable on a family budget.

finicky but worth it for the right price

nice big deep cells for bigger or longer term seedlings. they dont sit exactly right in the tray but since i got them on a deep discount ill live with it. i wish it came with a lid to help trap humidity. i dont imagine theyll last more than a couple seasons honestly, but the ones that do last a decade or more are like 70$ a tray.

Great size

I really appreciate the size of these. i started my annuals early inside, and like that, they won't need to be repotted before transplant. i also love that they can be separated easily, but the tray holds itself together well. I only wish it came with a dome.

Work-Saving Seedling Starters

It takes so much time to start seeds on paper strips, move them to peat pots and then plant them into bigger pots before you can actually plant them where they will end up. When you use these to begin with you can just plant them and tend them until they are ready to go. Transplanting tiny seedlings kills a lot of them because they are so fragile so you do not want your move them more than you have to. These are the perfect size to go on my small greenhouse shelves. The tray they sit in waters the pots from below which keeps the roots moist and keeps you from damaging the seedlings when you water them. They are black so they attract heat. This is not super strong but if you take care of it I know it could last for many years.
