What is in the pack?
Five scented oil refills, 3.35 fluid ounces in total. These are refills only. The warmer unit is sold separately, so this is the wrong purchase if you do not already have one.
What scent is it?
Warm Apple and Spices, in the warm and spicy family. It is a Limited Edition line rather than a permanent one, which matters if you plan to restock the same scent repeatedly.
How do I install a refill?
Remove the cap from the refill, insert it into the warmer, then plug the warmer into the outlet. Insert the refill before plugging in rather than after, and keep the warmer upright so oil does not track down the unit.
How long does one refill last?
That depends entirely on the warmer's intensity setting. On a low setting a refill runs for weeks; on maximum it can be a fraction of that. Scent duration complaints are almost always a warmer left on high.
Why does the scent seem to fade after a few days?
Two causes. Olfactory adaptation means you stop noticing a constant scent in your own home while visitors still smell it clearly. Separately, a warmer on a high setting burns through the top notes early. Turning the setting down usually gives a more consistent result than replacing the refill.
Is the scent too strong?
It is one of the more assertive scents in the range, and reviews split on it. Start the warmer on its lowest setting in a small room and work up. The setting does more to control intensity than anything else.
Can I use these in any Glade warmer?
They fit the standard PlugIns warmer. They are not interchangeable with other brands' warmers, which use different refill fittings.
Where should I plug it in?
Not directly beneath a shelf, a curtain, or anything that could trap heat, and not behind furniture where airflow is blocked. Mid-wall in an open part of the room distributes it best.
Can I leave it plugged in all the time?
It is designed for continuous use. Unplug it if the refill runs dry, because an empty warmer running on is what causes most of the overheating complaints across this category.
