What is in the pack?
Five scented oil refills at 0.67 oz each. Refills only, no warmer. The warmer is sold separately and this is the wrong purchase without one.
What does it smell like?
Lavender over vanilla, crossing the floral and warm and spicy families. It is a softer, sweeter profile than the citrus scents in the range and it suits bedrooms better than kitchens.
How do I install a refill?
Remove the cap from the refill, insert it into the warmer, then plug the warmer in. Insert first, plug second, and keep the warmer upright so oil does not run down the unit.
How long does one refill last?
It depends almost entirely on the warmer's intensity setting. On low, weeks. On maximum, a fraction of that. Nearly every complaint about duration is a warmer left turned up.
Why does the scent seem to disappear after a few days?
Two causes. You adapt to a constant scent in your own home and stop registering it while visitors still notice it clearly. Separately, a high setting burns through the top notes first. Turn the dial down rather than replacing the refill.
Does it fit any warmer?
It fits the standard Glade PlugIns warmer. Other brands use different refill fittings and are not interchangeable.
Where should I plug it in?
Mid-wall in an open part of the room. Not under a shelf, behind a curtain, or behind furniture, where heat is trapped and airflow is blocked.
Can I leave it running all the time?
It is designed for continuous use. Unplug it once a refill is dry, because an empty warmer left running is behind most overheating complaints in this category.
Is lavender a good choice for a bedroom?
It is the most common reason people buy this scent. Run it on the lowest setting in a bedroom; a scent that is pleasant in a hallway is often too much in a room you sleep in.
