How do they close?
A double zipper closure that you seal by pinching along the track from one end to the other. Run a finger the full length rather than pressing in the middle, which is where a half sealed bag leaks from.
Are they actually freezer bags?
Yes, they are rated as freezer bags rather than ordinary storage bags. The plastic is thicker, which is what resists the cracking that makes a thin sandwich bag fail at freezer temperature.
Do they stand up on their own?
