I didn't know half-gallon existed!

I love these half-gallon size zipper bags. A lot of the time I have food that's too small to fit into a quart bag, but when I put it into a gallon size there's lots of room left. This half-gallon size is perfect for portioning meat (which I buy in bulk) to freeze. I will be buying this from now on. I always get the Great Value brand because it's cheaper and works just as well as the big brand. It shuts and closes just fine.

No concern about not sealing correctly

I've used the Great Value slider freezer bags for sous vide, and it works just fine. I prefer using the slide lock, over press lock, as I know it's sealed with one swipe. Inexpensive & durable, I'll continue to purchase Great Vaue slider freezer bags, going forward. Highly recommend
