Why did my trigger stop working after a few days?

Keep the bottle upright while spraying and support the base when carrying it full.
Can I spray upside down?
No. Angled spraying pulls the pickup tube out of the liquid and loads the mechanism in a direction it is not built for. For spraying upward under a rim or behind an appliance, a bottle with a continuous or inverted spray trigger is the right tool.
What can I safely put in it?
Water, diluted household cleaners, vinegar solutions, and plant misting. Avoid solvents, full strength bleach, and oil based liquids. Solvents attack the seals and are a common cause of a trigger that works for a week and then stops.
Why does the straw not pick up the last of the liquid?
The pickup tube is cut to leave a small amount at the base, which is normal. If it loses pickup well above the bottom, check the tube is pushed fully onto the spigot and is not kinked or split where it meets the mechanism.
