Sturdy and easy to carry

I don’t care what they cost-these are the ones if you want food to stay in the pan. Very sturdy and easy to carry. Skip the flimsy foil pans.

Well worth the price

Very heavy-duty aluminum pan-held a 24-pound turkey, vegetables, and all the drippings with no trouble. The foil is thick enough that turning up the rim so drippings from the foil tent run back into the pan is a workout (I’m 70; plenty of things are). You’ll want it on a rimmed cookie sheet when it’s full-that’s standard for foil roasters. I’m pleased enough with the quality that I’ll keep buying this brand. You could wash and reuse it; I don’t, but it never lost its shape.

When I divorced there was a lot I didn’t have the heart to take. That was about 16 years ago and I never replaced some things. I’ve used these pans before and they worked well. This year’s turkey is huge-prize-winner size-so I’ll line the oven rack and the pan with foil and wrap the bird too. A couple of reminders I wish I’d known earlier: don’t stuff the bird and let it sit-bake right away; don’t thaw weeks ahead or you risk getting sick. Take care. P.S. Putting this pan on a baking sheet for extra support is a good idea.

Not flimsy at all for the 12-pound turkey I cooked. Washed out easily afterward and could be reused many times. Nice and deep too. Great product.

Peach cobbler, here we come

Believe it or not, my son and I made a peach cobbler and it turned out delicious and juicy. Deep-dish style with 2 large cans in heavy syrup, 2 regular cans in light syrup, 2 cans in fruit juice, 3 boxes of cake mix, and 4 sticks of butter. The pan was very sturdy. I’ll make another-bought 2 pans and didn’t even need the second.
