Hartz UltraGuard Plus Flea and Tick Spray for Cats is an 8 oz topical spray formulated to kill and repel fleas, ticks, flea eggs and larvae. It is fresh scented, intended for cats and kittens 12 weeks of age and older, and starts killing fleas within about 10 minutes.
- 8 fl oz spray bottle; hold about 6 inches from pet and wet fur tips, rub in and towel dry after 10 minutes
- Active ingredients: Tetrachlorvinphos 1.08% and [S]-Methoprene 0.07%
- For cats under 25 lb; recommended dose: 15–25 strokes for a small cat, 25–35 strokes for a large cat
- Can be used weekly for prevention and also to treat bedding and surrounding areas

It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.Read entire label before each use - use only on cats.Shake well before use:1. Hold bottle upright about 6 inches from pet.2. Spray lightly until the tips of the pet's hair are moist. Keep spray out of pet's eyes.3. Rub spray into animal's coat. For long-haired cats, ruffle fur to allow spray to reach skin.4. After 10 minutes, dry cat with towel.5. Comb and brush coat.6. Repeat once a week.7. If you see a tick, spray it directly.8. Be sure to treat the animal's bedding and surroundings with a product registered for these uses, such as Hartz? UltraGuard Plus? flea & tick home spray. Recommended dosage for cats: Spray 15-25 strokes for a small cat. Spray 25-35 strokes for a large cat.Storage and disposal: Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage and disposal.Pesticide storage: Do not store near heat or open flame. Keep this product in its tightly closed original container when not in use.
