Questions about this product
How much is in the tub?
7.22 lb of concentrated powder in a resealable tub. It is a laundry stain remover in powder form rather than a liquid or spray, and it is scented, in the fresh family.
How do I dose it for laundry?
Fill the scoop to Line A for regular loads, or more for larger and heavily soiled ones. Add it to the drum with your detergent rather than into a dispenser drawer, where powder can cake.
What does it do that detergent does not?
It targets odor embedded in fabric rather than visible staining. Sweat, mildew, pet accidents, and gym kit that smells fine dry and sour when damp are what it is bought for.
Does it work in cold water?
Poorly. The oxygen release that does the work is temperature dependent, and warm or hot water activates it. This is by far the most common reason people report no effect.
How do I treat set-in odor?
Dissolve a scoop in warm water and soak the item first, then wash as normal. Soaking is what makes the difference on anything washed repeatedly that still smells.
Is it color safe?
It is oxygen based rather than chlorine bleach, so far gentler on color. Test anything dark or delicate first, and keep it off wool, silk, and leather.
Does it contain bleach?
Not chlorine bleach. It works through oxygen release in water.
How should I store a tub this size?
Sealed and dry. Powder that has absorbed moisture clumps and loses potency, which is what happens to a tub left open in a damp laundry room. The lid matters more on a 7 lb tub because it will be open for months.
Is the 7.22 lb tub better value?
Per use, clearly. Buy a smaller tub first if you have not used it before, because 7 lb is a long commitment.
What is the UPC?
757037001516.
