Works great with zapper at night

I read the reviews and felt like this was worth a try. We just came back from a camping trip and used this every night. First off, the zapper light is not very bright. I read some comments where people complained it did not zap a single mosquito. Because the zapper is not that bright, I would recommend not turning on the light and only having the zapper on. We had a canopy with mosquito netting that we hung out in during the day when we were not out on the lake. I had citronella candles and coils burning while we were not in the canopy and that worked great. The first day we accidentally left the tent unzipped and I went to put something inside, only to be met by hundreds of mosquitoes. I hung the zapper inside with the zapper on but the light off. Later that night I went in to check and the zapper had killed most of them. I do not feel like the zapper kills mosquitoes during the day very well because it is not bright enough, but at night it seems to work great. Also, the battery drains faster if you use the light as opposed to just the zapper. Using just the zapper it kept its charge all four days.

Is the best!

Very easy to use. One charge lasts hours. I left it on in the tent while we slept and it was still on when I woke up the next morning. You can either hook it to something or set it on a flat surface. So easy to clean! I tried the Black Flag bug zapper and there is no comparison. The Ozark Trail wins by a long shot! It is also cheaper!

A right-on little bug executioner

I had my doubts about it for 17 bucks, but it had good reviews. I get about 30 hours out of a charge. The light has high, medium, and low settings and is very adequate. It cleans by just running a faucet over it, and it has got my fruit fly infestation nipped. I highly recommend this little bug zapper.

After a full charge, it has run approximately 11 hours so far and has not needed a recharge yet. It works well attracting and zapping those pesky bugs, and you cannot hear it. The lantern part has three light settings and is bright. You can set it on a surface or hang it. I would recommend this.
