How much soap is in the pack?

Can I use it in a dishwasher?
No. The manufacturer's instruction is explicit: do not use in automatic dishwashers. Hand dish soap produces suds that will overflow a dishwasher and can damage it. Use a dishwasher detergent instead.
Is it concentrated?
Yes. A concentrate, so a smaller amount than you would use with a standard soap. Overdosing is the most common reason people find it hard to rinse off.
What does Oxy Power Degreaser do differently?
It is formulated for baked-on grease rather than general washing up, which is the use case it is bought for. On lightly soiled dishes the difference from standard Palmolive is marginal.
Is it antibacterial?
It carries an antibacterial ingredient property. That applies to the soap in use on a surface, and it is not a substitute for a disinfectant on countertops.
What scent is it?
Original, in the fresh family, the long-running version of the scent. It is the long running Palmolive scent rather than a seasonal variant, so it matches what most repeat buyers are expecting.
Can I use it for anything other than dishes?
People commonly use dish soap for handwashing delicates, cleaning greasy range hood filters, and degreasing tools. It is a strong surfactant, so it will strip oils, which is why it is also the wrong thing for seasoned cast iron or a waxed surface.
Is it safe for cleaning an animal?
Dish soap is sometimes recommended for removing oil or grease from an animal's coat, but it strips natural oils and dries skin. For anything routine, use a product formulated for the animal.
How should I store it?
Upright with the cap closed. A concentrate left open thickens as water evaporates, which makes it harder to dose rather than stronger.
