Pine-Sol Multi-Surface Floor Cleaner in Original Pine scent is a 20 fl oz liquid concentrate for cleaning and deodorizing hard, nonporous surfaces like wood, tile, stone, porcelain and glass. It is formulated as an antimicrobial household floor cleaner and can be used diluted for routine cleaning or full strength for tougher jobs or disinfecting as directed.
Contains citric acid as the active ingredient. Follow the label directions for dilution and contact time when disinfecting; avoid use on marble, aluminum, copper or unfinished, unsealed, unpainted or waxed wood.

Directions
To clean and deodorize: Mix 1/8 cup per gallon of water. Mop, wipe or spray with solution. For tough jobs, use full strength and rinse immediately. To disinfect: Use full strength or mix 1 cup per 1/2 gallon of water and apply on hard, nonporous surfaces with a clean sponge or cloth. Allow surface to remain visibly wet for 10 minutes, then rinse. For visibly soiled surfaces, preclean surfaces before disinfecting. To ensure stability, prepare solutions daily.

How do I dilute it?
An eighth of a cup per gallon of water. Mop, wipe, or spray with the solution. A 20 oz bottle at that ratio makes roughly 20 gallons of cleaning solution, which is why the small bottle goes further than it looks.
Does it disinfect?
It carries disinfecting, antibacterial, sanitizing, and disinfectant properties. For the disinfecting claim, use it at full strength on a hard nonporous surface and leave it wet for the label contact time rather than diluting it.
Can I use it neat?
For disinfecting and for heavy soil, yes, on hard nonporous surfaces. For routine floor cleaning, dilute it. Neat Pine-Sol on a floor leaves a film that attracts dirt.
What surfaces can I use it on?
Sealed hard floors, counters, sinks, tubs, and painted surfaces. Avoid unsealed wood, unsealed stone, and aluminum, which it can dull.
Do I need to rinse after mopping?
At the correct dilution, no. If floors look hazy or feel tacky, the mix was too strong and a clear-water pass will clear it.
What does it smell like?
The Original pine scent, which is the whole reason people buy this line rather than a neutral cleaner. It lingers after cleaning by design.
What should I never mix it with?
Bleach. Pine-Sol and bleach together produce irritating and potentially dangerous fumes. Use one or the other with ventilation.
Is it safe around pets?
Keep pets off the floor until dry, use the stated dilution, and never let an animal drink the solution. Pine oil cleaners are particularly hard on cats.
