Pine-Sol Multi-Surface Cleaner in Original Pine scent is a 40 fl oz liquid concentrate for general household cleaning. It is formulated for floors and many hard, nonporous surfaces including wood, tile, stone, porcelain and glass; avoid marble, aluminum, copper or unfinished, unsealed, unpainted or waxed wood.
Use diluted for routine cleaning and deodorizing or follow label directions for disinfecting on hard, nonporous surfaces. Active ingredient is citric acid (1.75%).

Directions
To clean and deodorize: Mix 1/8 cup per gallon of water. Mop, wipe or spray with solution. For tough jobs, use full strength and rinse immediately. To disinfect: Use full strength or mix 1 cup per 1/2 gallon of water and apply on hard, nonporous surfaces with a clean sponge or cloth. Allow surface to remain visibly wet for 10 minutes, then rinse. For visibly soiled surfaces, preclean surfaces before disinfecting. To ensure stability, prepare solutions daily.

How much is in the bottle?
40 fluid ounces of dilutable concentrate.
How do I dilute it?
An eighth of a cup per gallon of water. At that rate a 40 oz bottle makes around 40 gallons of solution.
Does it disinfect?
It carries disinfecting, antibacterial, sanitizing, and disinfectant properties. Use it at full strength on hard nonporous surfaces for the disinfecting claim and leave it wet for the label contact time. Diluted, it cleans and deodorizes rather than disinfecting.
What is it best at?
Floors, which is what the cleaner type rating names. It is also used across counters, sinks, tubs, and bins, and it is bought as much for the deodorizing as the cleaning.
What should I avoid using it on?
Unsealed wood, unsealed stone, and aluminum. Also avoid it on anything where a lingering pine smell would be a problem, because it persists.
What should I never mix it with?
Bleach. The two together produce irritating fumes.
Do I need to rinse afterwards?
Not at the correct dilution. Too strong a mix leaves a film, and a clear-water pass removes it.
What scent family is it?
Woody and earthy. The Original pine scent, which is deliberately strong.
Is it safe around pets?
Keep them off until dry, dilute as directed, and be particularly careful with cats, which are more sensitive to pine oil cleaners.
Which size should I buy?
