Is it recycled?
Yes. It is made from 100% recycled paper, of which 20% is post-consumer recycled fiber. Recycled fiber is shorter than virgin fiber, which is why a recycled 2-ply feels firmer and thinner than a virgin premium 2-ply at the same ply count.
Is it really 2-ply?
Yes, two plies of recycled paper. It is thinner per ply than a retail premium 2-ply, so it reads as firmer and less cushioned. Buyers coming from a plush retail brand notice this immediately; buyers coming from other commercial tissue do not.
Is it septic safe?
Yes. Thin, fast-breaking recycled tissue is generally better for septic and marine holding tanks than plush multi-ply, which is part of why this line exists.
Is it scented?

Will the rolls fit a domestic holder?
They are Big rolls rather than jumbo commercial rolls, so they fit a standard domestic holder. They will also fit most commercial single-roll dispensers.
Why does it not tear cleanly at the perforations?
Recycled fiber tears along the path of least resistance, and a fast pull rips across the sheet rather than along the perforation. Hold the roll and pull down slowly rather than out and fast.
Who is this a good fit for?
Offices, rental properties, workshops, boats, and anyone buying on cost per sheet with a septic or marine system to protect. If you want a cushioned feel at home, a virgin fiber premium tissue is the better match and this will disappoint.
