Directions
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. For thorough ant control, use all baits at one time. To keep ants from returning, replace all baits every three months. 1. Separate baits before placement. 2. For thorough ant control, all four baits must be used at one time. For LARGER KITCHENS or PARTICULARLY HEAVY INFESTATIONS, we strongly recommend using additional baits. 3. For best results, place the baits next to the wall along baseboards, in corners, under sinks, in cabinets and near plumbing fixtures. You can even place baits in cabinets. Do not contaminate feed or food products or food preparation surfaces, dishes, kitchen utensils and food containers. 4. Baits work best on horizontal surfaces touching corners and walls. 5. Ants will begin eating the bait immediately and you should expect to see fewer ants within days. 6. Replace ALL baits every three months to keep ants from returning. STORAGE AND DISPOSAL STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry area inaccessible to children. Do not store above 130°F. DISPOSAL: If empty: Do not reuse the bait station. Place in the trash or offer for recycling if available. If partially filled: Call your local solid waste agency or call 800-529-3394 for disposal instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.

Questions about this product
What is in the pack?
Four pieces, supplied as child resistant bait stations holding 0.12 ounces of bait in total and weighing 0.07 lb for the pack. The bait is a solid rather than a gel or liquid, so there is nothing to leak onto a surface.
Is it a professional grade bait?
It carries a professional grade rating and a written warranty, which is unusual at this price point for a consumer bait station.
How long does a station stay effective?
Up to 3 months once placed. Replace them at the end of that window or sooner if the bait has been fully consumed.
Why are the ants walking past the bait and ignoring it?
Because ant baits are matched to what a colony is currently feeding on, and ants switch between sugar and protein depending on the season and the colony's needs. These are a sugar based bait. If your ants are on grease or protein at the moment, they will walk past it regardless of placement. This is the most common reason a bait appears to do nothing.
How do I find out which kind of ants I have?
Run a test. Put a dab of jam and a dab of peanut butter on a piece of foil a few feet apart near the trail, and check after an hour. If they work the jam, a sugar bait suits. If they work the peanut butter, you need a protein or grease based bait instead.
How long does it take to work?
Bait works by being carried back and shared through the colony, so results come over days rather than minutes. Expect more ants than usual for the first day or two, which is the bait being collected and is a sign it is working. Allow a week. No traffic into the station at all after three days points to the wrong bait type rather than a bad pack.
Where should I place the stations?
Flat on the trail itself, against the edge where ants already walk. Placement on the trail matters more than proximity to where you saw them. Do not clean the trail with bleach or disinfectant first, because that destroys the pheromone path they follow to reach the bait.
Why did the bait stop working after I sprayed insecticide?
Spray repels ants and kills the foraging workers you need to carry bait back to the colony, so the two approaches work against each other. Use one or the other, not both in the same area.
Are they safe around children and pets?
The stations are child resistant enclosures, which is what the rating covers. The bait is food scented, so place them behind appliances, under units, and inside cupboards rather than in the open where a determined dog could chew one.
Will they work on fire ants?
Not well. Fire ants outdoors need a dedicated fire ant bait broadcast around the mound. These are rated for indoor use against common household ants.
